So while I was laying in bed tonight a very handsome 😍 and adorable sweetheart 🥰 surprised me with a bouquet of flowers and my favorite chocolate bar. I felt so loved 💞 and I realized I simply had to share... So yes this post is technically of me bosting over the gift but I can't help it. Especially since the gift came from my precious 10 year old son who spent his own allowance money to get them for me. He said he knew how stressed I have been and wanted to cheer me up 🥲💖😊!
So when was your last receiving or gifting act of just "because" kind loving gesture.

... Funny enough my last just "because" act was to my son 2 days ago. I came across a bag of sunbutter (instead of peanut butter) mini cups in a small shop and I surprised my son with them to cheer him up after an allergy test. 🙂

I have not received a physical gift "just because " in more than a decade.

The greatest gifts I have received are acts of kindness and words of love and compassion.

My friend asked me to look after his daughter if anything ever happened to him and his wife. I've never been so very honored.

Some years ago when I returned from the hospital to take care of a bleeding ulcer, I received what I called a hugalanche. It's an avalanche of hugs. My students would have knocked me over with the onslaught of hugs were it not for a wall behind me. One student made me promise her I would follow doctor's orders because I was "the best teacher." I was very touched.

I had a student tell me he wished I was his father. I was a bit taken aback by that. I see now that is a great honor.

According to my friend, when her granddaughter got upset or cried (she was about 2 1/2 when I met her) she would say, "I want [Bluemax]."

About 2 years before she died, I went on a trip to northern California with my mother. As we were exploring the redwoods, she said to me very tearfully, "Thank you for all of this. I love you to bits!"

Honestly I have not had any physical gifts "just because" in over a decade. Indeed I have spent some birthdays where I received nothing. But when I think of the kind words said to me, I would "scorn to change my fate with kings!" as Shakespeare said.

About me gifting someone else, it’s not a really a “gift”, but a few weeks ago I made my sister her favourite cake just because she likes it so much and I wanted to surprise her after the work 😅

This one girl up the road I've been giving her small gifts, I feel bad she doesn't have much and has a bad home life so I like making people happy and she's been so happy with what I give her, for Easter I want to give her card and some small things to make her happy

First off they are beautiful. Yes I've been surprised with gifts from guys I was dating flowers chocolates my favorite coffee even. For me to it's the small things that matter most

I gifted something because I knew I was gonna go broke so I bought everyone in my family something before I did, I already told my parents tho that I grew out of that shit, i don't want gifts on any holiday or not even on my birthday lol

Well thats sweet to gift things... But keep in mind you might have "grown" out of it but sometimes the biggest gift you can give is accepting a gift from a love one.

Well money is an issue in the family cause my father has depths for bills and medical bills and prescriptions and all that shit so I know those words were a gift themselves, them not feeling like they have to get me things, if they give it to me I will accept them but I tell them I don't need gifts when there's no gifts present or out of the blue so they know, they know that when I get my business running there will be plenty of gifts and money, I gotta get the whole fam out the gutter and gifts atm is just an unnecessary waste of money

I gave my sister some earrings with her birthstone on them. She has never had "good" jewelry, and was going on a trip, so I sent them to her for the trip.
