-Being stopped when I'm off the clock and someone asks me a question, even when I'm in the middle of carrying my purse and a basket with groceries.
-Someone asks me which aisle a certain item is and when I answer, they'll say "no, it's not down that aisle," or "I've already checked down there." Okay than guess what, clearly it's not on the shelf so it's not going to be anywhere else than the aisle I told you where it was.
-Forgets their wallet, then doesn't even come back and we have to put their shit away.
-Asking "how are you?" then they'll just stare at you or have a different response such as "I have three packs of pop in my cart..."
-When I get done ringing up the change they give me and as I'm giving them their money back, they'll be like "wait! I've got 69 cents!" Also when they ask "did I give you enough?" as I'm in the middle of counting bills/coins.
-Leaves their cart in the middle of the parking lot (especially on a windy day). Like if you can walk all around the store for 30-40 minutes I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to walk a few feet to put the cart back in the corral.

I dont work in retail but from customer perspective I really hate when women that work at any luxury stores or part of the store were are cosmetics constantly bother you and act like you will steal something and dont even let you try the stuff. I would understand if i looked homless or if i was a teeneger or whatever (even tho then is also not ok, but point is if someone acts shady and is there just to use cosmetics). But man those women are always rude, if i want your help Ill ask, leave me be! 9/10 times i won't buy anything cause they make me wanna leave. Recognize your customer, some want assistance and those that dont leave them be. I guarantee you those that want to be left alone will much likely buy something and if you bother them they won't.
Things like - do you need help?; No thank you.; Oh i see you are looking at mascaras, this one is good.; No, thank you; Maybe this one?; Id rather look by myself.; Oh this one is for you! LIKE LEAVE ME BEEEEEE
Real story: Do you have chanel make up brush?; Yes, this one this or this or this?; None of those! Its other one (i say exactly wich one); That doesn't exsist!; Yes it does; No, this one is good for you; No, i want that one; There is nothing wrong with this one. Weve gone tru them 3, yours doesn't exsist!; Yes, it does, i saw it online; Then buy it online! (she didn't even show me all brushes they have)
Exactly, I can't stand that either. I feel like I'm constantly being supervised in those sorts of stores. One store I went into I didn't plan on buying anything, then this one employee chimed in and asked me what sorts of dresses I was browsing for. She had me try on a couple in the dressing room, then attempted to try to make me buy a pair of shoes and some jewelry to go with the dress though I had NO intention buying anything, I was only browsing. I made up a lie and said I was going to be late for my nail appointment, then she had the nerve to ask me what time my appointment was! I had to lie again, said I'll be back and just walked out lol.
Yes exactly, they are so rude and then so am i. When they ask for help i say NO THNK U! If they keep bothering me i just leave
I get annoyed when jobless housewives with four kids who are 20 years older than me complain that I’m too slow at doing my job. Like my friend said, they have no business judging your work ethic when they don’t even have jobs.
The constant push for perfectionism and other past trauma lol of meeting sales targets or other workplace politics 😕😔
