We were friends with benefits and then he broke it off with me and told me not to contact him anymore (with good reason) and then he calls me back just because he noticed that i blocked him on instagram and he wanted me to add him back... :s why?

probably because he wants to see you or see what you're up to. Like he's curious on what you do and where you go or who you hang out with.

Maybe he changed his mind and wants to see you. Or maybe he is just a creep and wants to keep an eye on you.
