How can I look less bitchy?

I have a really bad resting bitch face. I've been told I look really mean :/ Many girls have told me I look like a bitch and people have told me I look scary and intimidating. (I don't see how that's possible considering I'm like 5'3 and wouldn't hurt a fly)

Sometimes the RBF is a blessing because it saves me from a lot if conversations. I'm quite introverted and prefer not to talk. That and in a society willed with assholes, no one fucks with me so, there's that too.

Anyway, once people begin talking to me they tell me that they thought I was a bitch and they were scared to approach me. They usually tell me that I'm one of the nicest people they have ever met. I'm pretty much the "mom friend".

I've had teachers ask me what my attitude was. My dad's ex wife used to tell me to "wipe that look of your face"

My personality is the exact opposite of what my face portrays, unless provoked of course.

Is there a way to look less bitchy?

There's not really anything to do about it I don't think. Personally, I see through that sort of thing so I don't see it as much of a problem, but I can see how it might affect certain situations. First impressions, job interviews, things like that. You could try to smile a little, but people could try to get to know you before making assumptions, too.

I never approach people, no matter who they are. It's nothing personal haha.

But I'm usually slightly intimidated by taller people anyway.

Just smile at people when you see them in public like a casual grin and eventually you’ll just naturally have a more relaxed expression. Or raise your eyebrows because it makes you look nicer and more approachable. I think I used to have a total resting bitch face and still do but because I smile at people that I know in public everyone knows I’m nice

Watch any of those "try not to laugh" challenges on youtube, then when you smile or laugh, maintain the smile as long as you can. It will strengthen your facial muscles so that you may eventually develop a subtle smile as your resting face instead.

I laugh at literally everything. Someone can look me dad in the eye and say "cornbread" and I'm done for. I laugh any chance I get, so I would think it would have been trained by now. I also smile a lot when I get the chance.

Well, it is also a blessing in disguise. You won't be approached by anyone who doesn't have balls. Maybe, you can fake smile and take the initiative to start a conversation first.
And, the people who judge you based on just facial expressions (without getting to know you), aren't worth you in the first place.

Without seeing your face it would be hard to say where the RBF is focused. You sound like you have a good personality so I would recommend remaining as friendly as possible. Your real friends will know who you are.

Soften your eyes. Smiling is a pain in the ass, and makes the biggest impact, but softening your eyes will seem more sincere.
