My boyfriend has a tattoo of his sister’s and cousin’s name. is it strange?

When I saw him shirtless for the first time I was surprised to see two females name on his torso, in his heart area. Of course I getted jealous at the beginning till I noticed that it’s the name of his little sister and his favourit female cousin he was raised with. He told me that he did this tattoo at the age of 20 when he left his home to follow his studies in another country, so they will know that he think about them a lot. I know these girls very well, so I am not jealous but it’s kind of weird for me. Is it normal for a dude to have these kind of tattoo?
