It's not body shaming if it's true... fat people do need to try harder to live healthily. I watched a documentary a long time ago showing how the obesity epidemic is what's taxing the hospitals. So, when people really need help for serious issues a morbidly obese person could be the reasoning for the loss of a perfectly saveable person.
During the pandemic who was seen in those beds on the news the most? I don't know about you, but I saw lots of big people with their faces blurred out. Obesity is an epidemic that made the pandemic worse for our people on the front lines.
This goes deeper than should fat people wear a bikini.

I’m 5’6” and 220 lbs (and losing) and I bought one this summer (I don’t wear string bikinis though). I’m down 40 lbs right now and am starting to feel good about my body again. I still have a bikini that I bought ten years ago when I was thin, which I keep as an incentive to keep losing weight. I look nothing like the girls in those pics though.

As for obese people wearing bikinis, they get made fun of no matter what they wear so they might as well just wear what they want.

Like I'm overweight but people will be shocked because they couldn't tell. I'm short and everything is big on me ( especially my breasts ) so when I wear certain clothes I look okay with them. But I still don't wear bathing suits. I cause to much attention already.

Obese people have increased risk for so many health issues. So its important we try to prevent obesity. I do agree though, for some people they have hormonal imbalances which make weight gain unavoidable. Which is very unfortunate. But its up to them to seek the proper help before it worsens. And their families to help them live the healthiest lifestyle possible

i believe people who let their body get disfigured due to
being overweight / obese should be given a fine for indecent
exposure for wearing bikinis in public but i think one piece
bathing suits that overweight / obese people can wear without

We (saying as a fatty here) we fat people should swim... just cover our bellies with a tankini or one piece. We can still swim without wearing a bikini. We deserve to lose weight, but we shouldn't make the fashion of swimming this big of a deal. People with anorexia nervous have a real medical condition... be nice to the people with eating disorders... fat people eat disorderly, but they know what they're doing. People with anorexia have a painful pit of anxiety in their stomach when they try to eat. People try to force them to eat. I hate how society has gone backwards on this issue. Treatment of anorexia nervosa is more complex, than treating binge eating disorder, which I'm certain at least half of America has.
