Which one to choose, to keep or to let go?

This is the thing. Im unemployed at this moment. My sister does h ave a steady work in a company and she gets paid by the employer public health insurance by default, since it is public the insured person has access to public hospital, for some procedures and some medical services but it is for free in a way cause your employer pays that to all employees of the company by deducting from your salary a fee for that kind of health.

In my country private medicen is very expensive.

At this moment like I said Im unemployed cause I was fired some years ago. When I was working just like my sister my employer paid me a fee for public medicine but once an employee stops working in a company, the public insurance is no longer valid.

SInce im unemployed now and I dont have much money, I pay each month a private medicine program (it is not insurance plan though) but since it is private many services are of high quality with good doctors. The thing with his program is only that if I need some service from the clinics that are linked to this program, I have discounts, depending on the service, so I dont have to pay the regular fee, which can be expensive. So I get deducted from my account each month a fee in order to be affiliated to that private medicine program.

But where I live (not the USA) is very important to be insured by the public system who is the one belonging to the government. if a pèrson is unemployed one can still apply to get the public health insurance as there are many types of public insurance. In my case it had to be voluntary insurance service but to apply for that I need to pay also a monthly fee to get insured by the public system. The fee that I need to pay in the voluntary public plan, it is asigned by the public main heath insititution here in the country and also depends on how much money I own especially if the person is unemployed. They have to make sure I can pay the voluntary health insurance

you are deducted from your own salary automatically a fee from your employer for public insurance. And my sister tell me at certain age you start to having health issues that need to be considerated. I mean I can't pay both services cause Im unemployed teh 2 are important but then my sister tells me that I have to choose one as at certain age a person starts to have health issues she said. I had alwyas been in good health, thank God I alwyas work out and try to eat well, unlike my sis.
