Do girls/guys get nervous when talking to their crush over the phone?

I start fumbling over words and pretend to be busy with something. Sometimes, I even pretend that I'm losing signal and hang up LOL!

i get so nervous!...me an my man live far apart...so when he calls my tummy gets in knots...he told me he has a hard time calling cause it makes him feel like a school kid again...he is the cutest tho...very shy an yet maly...we can't live together so talking on the phone or via text is our only way so I'm hopping it gets better...an yes I have hung up on him cause I got to nervous

i've noticed that if I like a guy, I can't sit still. I like pace around in my bedroom, I get a little bit more confident than I usually am lol :) I get butterflies and everything :D

I don't get nervous, but it's a whole different conversation than being next to the person face-to-face. You lose all the non-verbals...facial expressions, body language, tone/inflection of speech. Face-to-face conversations are much more productive for me than over the phone, but you have to do what you have to do.

for some reason I'm not really worried about talking on the phone as much. until I accidentally say something stupid that I woukdnt say in text. but that wasn't the question. it depends on the girl really, if I'm familiar with the girl I'm nit really nervous, if I'm not then its really nerveracking.

if I get nervous, I start talking fast. To me, the phone is almost as equal as being in person. better than an email or text. At least I can hear their tone of voice.

I don't talk on the phone, I talk in person or I text. For some reason, I abhor talking on a phone, not sure why.

it seems a lot of guys do. my bff (a guy) that I am currently into called me driving home in a horrific storm because he wanted to answer a text I had sent. then he talked to me for like 10 min and he said it was the longest he had ever talked on the phone he didn't even talk to his mother that long. should have known how he felt then.
