What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen/heard someone brag about?

Me:  A friend’s husband just got fired from his job and I swear they acted like it was something to celebrate.  Even if you hate your job, getting fired doesn’t look so food in your resume…I even knew someone that bragged about how many jobs they got fired from in one year.. I’ve seen people at work brag about having to wear an “ankle bracelet”… Or the people that brag about how many people they sleep with, like that makes them something special.. It's not particularly "crazy", but there is this one friend of ours. "Status" is her things. Compliment her clothes, it's a rhetorical, "Oh this old rag, I just threw on?". Her favorite is to make a crock-pot meal and- SOMEhow and SOMEwhere in the evening- mention how little time it took her to make it, but thought it would "be good". Heck- since a jillion people at the company who makes the soup mixes (or whatever recipe source) KNOW it will work, it's just not that big a deal. I feel happier and better for the experience when I scratch cook a new dish and add that to my mental cook book. Now, I have an additional way of prepping a decent meal if things start to go south.

Again not "crazy", but we recently repainted our living room/dining room, and hung some shelves in the DR to display family-drawn/built/painted artwork, sculptures, etc. Five generations and still on a good creative streak! I WOULD brag about that- just a bit. But since I am only 1 of 14 creative family members the work on display, I guess I only have 7.143% bragging rights! :- )

Every now and then some guy will try and brag about having had sex with some absurd, ridiculously high number of women... and expect guys to be impressed by that. These guys clearly have issues with sex, or lying, or both... but it's the complete lack of self-awareness that I find so baffling.

Someone will swear they've had sex with over 700 women (or some bullshit) and expect a high-five. "You're super cool and oh-so-alpha, bro... but please don't touch me."

Oh wait, I also knew a guy who (with his hand in some sort of cast) seemed really proud of just how hard he managed punched the wall that broke his hand. (dummy)

I was at a party, and there was a guy there bragging about getting “shot”, because he was such a “big time drug dealer”! Okay so that’s not exactly a quote, but that’s what he was bragging about. I was absolutely shocked! I couldn't believe that this guy was so delusional that he believed him being a drug dealer would impress anyone. All it did for me was make me want to get the hell out of that house as quickly as possible!

A month ago, a guy on this site, two of them in fact, were bragging about being simps on OnlyFans. "Noisewater" and some other dude. It was the most bizarre, pathetic, sad, miserable sh*t I've ever seen on this site, especially considering they wanted people to take them seriously and listen to them as if they were "real men."

It makes my skin crawl how someone can be THAT self-loathing, and I say that as someone who dislikes his physical appearance. Being a "proud simp" is leagues below anything worthy of respect, however. That is as emasculated and pitiful as a human can get; which is why most simps turn out to be male feminists and incels; the OTHER two bottom-of-the-barrel type men in society.
