My boyfriend kinda moved out to live with his auntie for a while but during the stay his cousin’s children are love him and like to play with him but one of the girl , she’s getting a bit weird - she loves to stay around him , kiss him and even tell him how handsome he is LOL but we didn't think much of it ( he usually tell me about it ) but yesterday he was shocked and texting me that the little girl said she wants to see him shower 🥹🥹 and ask to shower with him.

While it's not very uncommon to have crushes like that, and do normal kid affection type stuff like the hugs and compliments, I don't think it's normal for it to escalate to mature/more explicit shit like the shower request. Now maybe she just heard that somewhere or knows her parents do it and doesn't actually know why—in that case still kinda normal to do what she sees others do when they love someone. That's how kids learn to show love after all. Maybe she heard on some TV show "let's shower together" as flirting between a married couple, could be that innocent of an explanation.
But there's also the chance she actually does know what she's asking for, understands the sexual implications of showering with someone you're romantically interested in, as typically older people are. If this is her expressing actual, like explicit sexual pursuit of an adult, that's unfortunately a big fucking sign that she's speaking from sexual experience with one. Kids shouldn't be behaving sexually—especially toward adults—at such a young age. It's not developmentally appropriate. And the most common explanation is sexual abuse forcing the behavior and knowledge on them when they aren't ready, which can result in them repeating it toward others.
Sorry to even suggest that. But if this does seem to be anything more than just a child thinking showering together is like "something people who love each other do," I'd take it as a serious sign of possible sexual abuse, and bring it up with her parents—who again I don't wanna say but, statistically are most likely to be the abusers in that case..
it happens because I've had a similar experience with an old friend's sister which I would assume was around the same age, I was sitting on the couch talking to my friend and she started moving her face way too close to mine, before she got too close i got up from the couch, as started getting up from the couch, my friend screamed her name and told her to go to her room, and since you are telling me this, I'm thinking maybe it's somewhat normal for humans to start crushing very young, I just always thought they did around 13 .
There is something very odd about this request. I would worry that this little girl is a child abuse victim and she's been showering with an older male relative.
I would make myself scarce from this household. Tell him to get out of there and find a sofa to crash on. Something wrong is going on. And this little girl might accuse him of something.
At 7, I knew my parents bathed together, but it never entered my mind to ask my father to bathe with me, and I had no interest in bathing with him or my mother.
A young child can have an innocent crush on an adult, like most little girls do with their dads, but this goes no farther than sitting on a lap or tossing a baseball or football between them. Asking to shower with an adult male or to watch an adult male shower is the request of someone who has been sexualized by a pedophile.
He can't solve this problem, but he can protect himself from getting involved and accused of pedophilia with this unfortunate child.
I don't know that I'd tell the parents about her request because THEY may be the pedophiles and might accuse him of some wrongdoing. I'd see a counselor and have the counselor report the incident to the police, which removes your boyfriend from the equation.
@msc545 There will be an investigation, and any removal will be temporary until they get to the bottom of the issue. The point is the have the child be safe from further access by the perpetrator. This person could be a neighbor or other relative who comes to the house regularly. Removing the child to stop the abuse is a good thing.
CPS in Los Angeles can take years to return a child and often they put the child in foster care and never return them. Removals here are far from benign.
At first, I thought, this is just a crush and nothing more. It's almost absurd to think a 7 year old is attracted to a man, in the same way as a woman in her 20's or whatever age is attracted to a man. However when I read the last sentence about wanting to see him in the shower, it may be that the little girl has been a victim of sexual abuse.
I think it's normal for her to be attracted to an older man. Just not normal for her to proposition him. At all. A little girl having a crush on an older guy is not abnormal, but she would usually be "weird" in a being shy around him way. She is... overly sexual in her advances. She should be blushing and feeling awkward, not kissing him and complimenting him.
The showering comment is particularly... disturbing.
It's almost like her problem is more not having the social sense to know what's inappropriate, or what should should be too embarrassed to say/do (even if she thinks it).
So it's not weird that she wants to shower with him. I would imagine that's a 7 year old girl's version of a sexual fantasy. (which is normal. uncomfortable to contemplate... but normal).
What seems to be abnormal is that she felt comfortable saying that to him. That she's comfortable kissing him and wanting to be around all the time (It's a self-awareness that makes people feel awkward around a crush. She seems to have none in this context.
She doesn't have any regular sense of "what will they think" that usually makes kids, and adults alike--act awkward and nervous around a crush. She's just... hitting on your boyfriend shamelessly. (literally, without any semblance that she should do anything different with her thoughts and feelings. Without shame.)
It almost seems like a social/boundaries issue this girl has, rather than an unhealthy fixation or attraction. It's her ACTIONS not the feelings that are weird.
This is an odd situation though. I'm not going to pretend I've ever heard of this happening before. Not quite so... boldly. I'm not sure what (if anything) you should do about it.

Let's face the plain fact that feminity awakens often very early, depending on tendencies, circumstances and behaviour of adults around children. I witnessed myself a similarly aged girl (7 or 8 years old) having such a crush. This can hardly be called "being attracted to older men", considering odds at that age most people being older. I guess the young girl is rather experimenting how far her awakening female power may reach ;0)
I don't think there's any wrong with it. After all, when I was that age, I had the hots for my aunt, my teacher and my babysitter. And, look at how many other kids have fallen in love with their elders. Jackie Cooper and several of the other Our Gang boys were in love with their teacher, Mrs. Crabtree.
That is totally... weird in my opinion. I really don't think that's health for a child to be thinking like that at such a young age. Especially if the guys is way older than she is...
I don't think it's weird to have a crush at a young age. I distinctly remember having one on a slightly older girl when I was only a few years old, lol. But I'm surprised at how forward and self-aware she sounds, that girl you're talking about.
When I was 12 years old I had a foster sister who was 6 years old that had a crush on me. I thought nothing of it being a teenager until when she moved out of our house and on the last day she gave me a kiss on check while with my brother she just gave him a hug.
Its normal. I worked at kindergarden and i've had young boys crush on me. The important thing to do is keep a bit distance. And if it gets severe talk to them. Tell them they are too old. It will go away. Obviously do not act on it.
You ever hear people say that women mature faster than men? That's actually true. Women's brains mature faster, which often leads to women being more attracted to older men.
I didn't read that all the way through. It's not really weird, because I had crushes on much older teacher when I was a kid. I think we've all been very attracted to people that were much older than us at some point. Perhaps its just weird that she's so open about it so young. I'd just express to her what's socially acceptable, and what isn't. Sounds like she just deosnt know any better, and is just freely expressing what's on her mind.

How are the parents ok with that? Even off it's a cheek kiss, which was not specified... towards a non-parent adult, that should be a no.) She's probably tryna smash... Lol. Something should be done about it. That kind of behavior is a red flag that she's already been sexually abused by an adult.
