Where I live, summers tend to be extremely hot and humid. Almost everyone is cranky because of the scorching hot weather, especially in May. I hate summers, and prefer winters because the weather tends to be cooler. My YouTube feed is filled with “It’s summertime!! Yay”… I’m like: can’t relate, lmao. definitely not yay”

When we are lucky we can have nice Summers but because of the high humidity in the air its starting to get unpleasant in summer sometimes aswell of the temperature goes up above 25°celsius / 77° Fahrenheit. When it reaches this temperature breathing becomes much more difficult and sweat starts falling like a waterfall from your forehead continuously while sitting still doing nothing at all😂
Damn, where are you at, it didn't get that hot when I was in the rainforest. Though granted the humidity made it so you couldn't do much from like 11am-1 or 2pm.
In general I love summer, but we'll only get one or two weeks where the temperatures go up as high as 104 here in Louisiana, best to spend those swimming.

I hate the summer heat but summer activities like swimming can be fun
Humidity, extremely bright out there for my overly sensitive eyes. If I keep the windows and door closed even if I wtay indoor with a fan on full speed and the air conditioning off, I feel like I'm flying over a big cooking utensils with lot of oil in it that's being used for frying stuff. Skin feels itchy. Hair needs to be washed too often and I've got crazy long hair that I dry naturally rather than use a hair dryer. I feel thirsty a lot even at night and because I end up drinking too much water, you feel less hungry and can't eat much. If I eat ice cream or drink cold drink, I get sore throat and even cough because I'm sensitive to cold food and drinks. My skin became too sensitive to sun over the last few years, it burns quickly now and if I spend too mucv time, I end up getting allergy like bumps on my exposed skin especially. So, yeah... I've got many reason to dislike summer because I live in Mumbai which is one of the worst place to spend in during summer if you have to frequently go out, lol.
I believe some people like summer because in other countries or cities where the winter tends to be too cold, the summer isn't so hot for them. It's warm. While winter means using shovel to get rid of snow around cars and stuff. Injured bones hurting a lot because of extreme cold weather, roads getting blocked sometimes because of extremely windy snow weather and have to wear bunch oc layer of clothes to stay warm and there are lot of things they have to put up with that makes it understandable why some people love summers instead.

I’m aware that temperate countries have more manageable temperatures, mostly in the range of 70-80F, which is pleasant.. (25°C is our winter temperature lmao. Not sure about Mumbai though).
I washed my hair 2 days ago and it’s already super greasy. I hate this feeling because my hair routine is elaborate and I don’t like doing it very often (washing too often can also damage hair follicles).. I don’t even have long hair, but that routine is what keeps my hair somewhat damage free

I'm sure it's according to where you live. I'm in the Gulf South and it's hot and humid here, but mornings and late evenings are tolerable. And we get regular rains. It's not usually over 98 degrees, but 88 is hot.
Have to pace yourself and move around while it's cooler, drink loads of water, go swimming, or move to somewhere more tolerable.
I have a garden and spring and summer are the times to grow and harvest vegetables, and to put up fruit in jars for the winter. WIthout the fruit and veggies of summer, there's no winter bounty. You need all the seasons!
I'm definitely not a fan of summer. It gets so hot and the whether makes me so tired. The sun beating down, blazing its heat and shing into my eyes, causing them to water. The heat makes me feel sweaty, the clothes stick to my back, and I start worrying if the sweat is making me smell stinky, and then I'm sniffing myself every five minutes because I'm an insecure person anyway.
Eventually I start stripping off clothes. At least if you're cold, you can pile on more blankets. If your hot, all you can do is strip and hope for the best! And even if I'm barely wearing anything, I still get hot and sweaty.
I'm sweating right now as we speak and the sun just came up!
I dont like summers. I prefer:
1. Spring
2. Autumn
3. Winter
4. And last summer.
Summer is overratted. Its extremely warm. Its sweating, burning skin, itching from allergies and mosquitos, bees and spiders. It can look beautiful but I can't take the heat🔥

Summer where I live is very hot here and for most of us outdoor activities outside of going to the beach or pool swimming and sunning are pretty quiet. We do have the advantage that the other three seasons are usually very nice except maybe when a hurricane blows through. At home we have a pool in a screened in area to cool off with when home.

The only people that like the summer are the unfortunate souls that deal with snow and blizzards and are happy to have a reprieve from shoveling their driveways.

I'm with you. I live in the NorthEast US so it isn't nearly as hot as it seems to be where you are, but I live on the ocean so it is always humid and the summers -- mostly July and August are torture for me. I like the temp in the 60s and 70s. Anything above that is hotter than I enjoy.
When I was your age I went to Arizona to live. Hot and dry. First few years it was okay, after that I hated it.
PS: Autum is my favorite season. Everything here is beautiful and it is cool but not bitter cold like the winter.
70s and anything below 85 is ideal to me, haha. Summers here are brutal, especially during May. I’m just waiting for October because of rains, the weather is much more pleasant.
If you are in the USA, I'm guessing you are in Florida or Texas, but seems weird that May would be hotter than June-August. October rain sounds more like Arizona!

I love chicken too. When I worked in NY City, I often ate lunch at an Indian restaurant near my office and the food was excellent. It was the real thing, owned by an Indian family and they did a great job.
I am ashamed to say that the only Indian food I have eaten in the past few years was these preprepared meals that come in a bag that you put in the microwave to heat up and eat. My sister brings them to my house when she visits me. They are all vegetarian, but some of them are pretty good! I think they are made in India. Here is an example...

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with this brand. However, I do love Chenna Masala! It’s quite famous here. You can pair it with hot rotis for dinner. My mom squeezes a few drops of lemon to bring out the flavor and it is absolutely heavenly! I’m not a fan of lentils though (and my mom hates the fact that I make a fuss whenever I have to to eat it)😂

No. The only time I ever "liked" summer was when I was still in school, and that was time off. And really that got ruined as soon as I got to high school and had half of it wasted being outside in the blistering heat and humidity for half of it in marching band practice.
And the middle east ruined warm weather for me as a whole.
I like plumbers because I like the warmth of the son on my face the only time of year that makes sense to wear shorts and a t-shirt even though I've been caught wearing shorts and t-shirt and Colder Weather that's just for me but I enjoy some summer as much as I enjoy winter spring and fall I am relaxed in all seasons I can see if you're dealing with 100° everyday that wouldn't be very enjoyable but Summer's not about the sun it's not about how hot it is summer is the time that people take vacations that families get together for picnics summer is the better part of fun with family.

105 degrees is a little excessive. I had basic training in San Antonio in the summer and it was always 100 degrees. Even at night it was brutal. The summer where I live are awesome. Mostly in the 80s.

I just end up switching on the AC and it runs until the room gets cold enough. I switch it off and the cycle continues. 😅 I’m not home most of the time, though. I’m usually either at uni or the gym, so it doesn’t matter much.

It’s in Fahrenheit, not Celsius. Besides, it’s pretty common for some tropical countries to go beyond 35°C.

No worries. This is not the typical temperature, even in summers. This year is just exceptionally hot.

Where I live it is so cold, rainy and windy. I think the maximum recorded temperature ever was 25 degrees (C) but most of summer is usually quite overcast and mild. To me, 15 degrees (C) is hot. I love going on summer trips abroad although the heat can get quite a lot it is so different and so nice!
Summer is the most beautiful time of the year objectively. Nature grows out and becomes more beautiful, its warm outside which makes people go out more, you can go to the beach, the sun makes people happier, the days are longer.

We still get a lot of hot humid days in Canada, of which I am outside most days. People come home from the office and want to be outside in the evening. I get home somedays and after melting all afternoon out in the middle of an open field, I am happy to be either out on the bay or in the air con when I get home.

105 F is pretty brutal for this time of year. Where I'm at in Florida this morning it was in the high 60's to mid 70 F. That's when I was outside doing things. I think the high for the day was 85 F this afternoon but I was inside in the AC working at my computer at that point. The temperature is starting to drop now and sunset is in about an hour. It will probably be back in the 70s within about 2 hours.
I Love Summers especially those days where it’s in the 80’s, there is a nice breeze, a few clouds overhead & my chair is parked in the sand & I’m looking out at the ocean.
I’ll pass on the 100’s but unfortunately I can’t avoid days like that.
I don't really like our summers due to humidity, yet ai prefer them over winters, because I am actually more willing to go outside. Our summers generally hover in 80s-90s with an equal percentage in humidity. Our winters vary, but generally below freezing for most of it, with a few days in the 60s (randomly, since they've happened in the middle of January before).

I’m well traveled, and have been to numerous places with extremely cold weather (There’s a few of those in India as well, especially northernmost and north eastern states where temperatures drop below 0°C sometimes at night) and having lived in the UK for briefly a year when I was about 13, I’m well aware of how bipolar and harsh some winters can get. While I do appreciate the rather unwarranted advice, I assure you, you have absolutely no reason to fret.

Yes; where I live it usually isn't too hot most of the summer due to sea breezes, though it can get up to 110 a few days over the summer. Here you can head for the mountains or beaches. I even went camping at Death Valley one summer - we stayed at 4,000 feet but during the day went up to 9,000 feet where it was cooler.
We only have 2 options, the summer and the rainy days. I don't like summer but I prefer it over rainy days.
