How bad is traffic where you live?

Usually traffic isn’t too too bad but we’re having a situation 💀

There’s a bridge that needs repairs so they closed it to fix it. now with the detour, traffic is backing up really bad. A drive that usually takes 5 minutes is taking people 2 hours…

The traffic is so bad that we got one of those emergency alerts on our phone warning us to stay away from the area 😭

They even had to do online learning for the schools cause the school buses can’t get to kids on time.
they’re tryna figure out a way to fix the traffic but the bridge will apparently be closed for the next 3 months.

thankfully I don’t live in that city anymore and I don’t drive that way so I’m in the clear 😭 rip to everyone who does though.

People are making memes about it on Facebook and I was dying over them. Someone last night said “if you work in [city] in the morning, you better leave now” LMAOOO

Generally speaking, not bad at all.

Where I live, people don't realize how spoiled we are when it comes to how great out traffic is. Even when we have construction projects like the one where you live, it's not too bad.

I don't even want to think about how bad the traffic is in the New England Region of the USA. I'm actually surprised to hear the East Providence, Rhode Island Area doesn't usually have bad traffic, or, your definition of "not bad" is wayyy different than mine.

Like I’ve been caught in New York, Boston, and LA traffic. I’m just grateful that I don’t have to deal with that on a daily basis like they do.
But we have a lot of shitty drivers here so yes traffic can be bad here and there

It's OK. It can be a bit of a git during rush hour, or when there's roadworks. My town is near quite a few motorways, so if there are any issues, we get all the diverted traffic. Not to mention side streets near my work get filled up with lorries waiting to tip, most days.

I'm an Uber Driver, and one of my passengers I regularly pick up is from Shanghai, China, and he told me it's the worst traffic in the world lol.

The worst traffic is in Istanbul Turkey, omg friggen people vans of traffic going steep up hil and down hill on stone ladden roads and on side walks. People budge through trucks as if its some sort of high school hallway.

Where I live in Canada, it’s illegal to have kids under 13 unsupervised at home, so when teachers go on strike, parents have to take the day off work, unless they can find a daily babysitter on 24 hour notice.

I can make it to work in 3 minutes if I hit the first traffic light at the right time. There are parts of my city where traffic is pretty bad, but it's really easy for me to avoid them.

Usually its quite light and even at rush hour you can do the speed limit. The only time it gets bad is around summer public holidays, especially if it's hot and the tourists flock to the beaches.

Not bad. Bridges only get packed at 3.30pm with people picking up their kids from schools, and 5pm with people finishing work. Other than those two times, all the roads move quickly.

it's beautiful now. For months, they had major roads closed here, and everyone trying to get to the highway had to take the same road. So my town of 50,000- or whatever was all driving on the same 2-lane road... and that sucked. Now we're all spread out and back to small-ish town driving life. :D

It can be bad but it's rarely a problem as I walk to work. I have a short drive some evenings and typically it takes several minutes to drive the 6 blocks to the freeway entrance.

My city has about 350,000 people in it so traffic can get a bit busy. Nothing like a huge city like new york or chicago obviously.
