How should I provide a safe environment for her to do it?

My girlfriend wants to do ecstasy. She has never done any drugs, but very curious about how it feels. Although I prefer her not doing ecstasy, I understand that if she really wants to, she might do it regardless of how unhappy it may make me feel. That being the case, any suggestions on how I can provide a safe environment for her to do it? I was thinking at my house, with just the two of us. I'm not going to do it since I'm not curious myself and it can cause me potential health risks.

Oh and she is also thinking about LSD. Which one would be a better choice so she can "experience" it. I just want to move pass this and get it over with.

Do you guys think I should even bother doing this?

I remember when I first tried ecstasy, I completely freaked out because I was surrounded by people fighting with each other. I'm not sure if at home is the best place either though. Ecstasy is a drug that will get you out and wanting to do stuff, sitting at home might just make her focus on things like her increased heart beat and that might make her freak out. I was in a club and dancing to the music was all I wanted to do at the time, so if you are home, have music, preferably with a bass to take her mind of the irregular heart beat. Also, just don't argue with her or create a bad atmosphere, it can just ruin the whole thing and then she'll have hours of freaking out to do before the effects wear off. Not to mention she'll be scattering out the whole next day, and when she initially comes off she won't be able to sleep for ages and her body will feel heavy and tired but her brain will be wide awake. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me anxious. I had the worst. time. ever. it was great at first, but then it got bad. You should be careful, I don't think it'll harm her but she might freak out.

Definitely ecstasy. LSDs can go wrong - bad thoughts can turn into a mental hell.

It's hard to have a bad time on ecstasy unless you take too much (but the comedown can be a bitch).

Do it at your house, if that's what you want. Get her to take half a tablet to begin with. After a few hours she can take the other half. She's never tried it, so she doesn't know what her tolerance is like. Also, almost all ecstasy available these days is a bit diluted - so you don't know the strength of it. Could be super strong, could be weak as piss. Don't take alcohol or mix drugs.

If she chooses to do X, keep her hydrated. The next day give her some Vitamin C & B12. She'll feel pretty tired.

I think that if she wants to do it, she should. Drugs are so taboo. There's nothing wrong with being curious, so long as she doesn't get addicted/dependent. If she wants you to help her - I think you should, but if you're uncomfortable with the idea don't do it.

Btw, sex when you're on X is incredible.

thanks for your input. She never really asked me to do it for her, it is something I suggested because I feel uncomfortable if she were to do it with other people. Since she has never been in these kind of dug-induced states. I don;t know how she will act.

Hahah, I have read that sex does become very good. At the same time, I remember ecstasy should decrease sex drive and it would increase the duration of climax. Interesting to hear that you had a great sex experience when on ecstasy.

Hahaha yup.

A lot of people on here are being super judgmental, but you should avoid that. If you don't want her to do it, you can tell her that - but don't tell her what to do. If you push her she will push back. You're her boyfriend, not her father. Trust that she is responsible and intelligent enough to make the right choice. Yes, drugs can be harmful - but if you're smart about it they are just a bit of fun.

This is very strange. Why would any one have the desire to use a harmful drug substance? Her trying it one time and lead to her liking the feeling and doing it all of the time. Is this something you want to happen? Is this something you want to feel responsible for? If I were you I'd try to discourage her from wanting to use it. Go on the internet with her and read the horrible side effects of this drug, and what can be the outcome with on going use. Scare her straight!

I've done acid a number of times. LSD is not addictive at all. It should not be hard to come by clean LSD. So long as you are able to control your own brain you are fine. You just except that it is a drug and know what you see is not real, no big deal in my opinion.

Ecstasy on the other hand is addictive. On top of that there is rarely any real MDMA on the market. Due to government regulation of base chemicals there are numerous variations of psychedelic amphetamines cut with various other drugs that are passed off as Ecstasy. You really never know what you are truly getting. I never really messed with MDMA because I like knowing what I'm putting in my body.

oh really? that sounds pretty opposite from what I am reading and hearing LSD seems to be the more "intense" drug. Both drugs don't seem to leave a lasting physical problem. They all seem to be a psychological dependence, if she does get addicted.

LSD is not an addictive drug. You take it, in about 15-30 minutes it kicks in. You trip for about 8 hours, then you feel tiered and weird for a while. I don't take it anymore but when I was younger I took it a number of times. I would take it at night and trip out until day break and then go to sleep when was done. Never had any dependence on it.

Amphetamines are very addictive. Pure MDMA is very similar chemically to crystal meth and other amphetamine family drugs. They act on serotonin receptors and can have long term effects on the brain/mood after extend use (depression).

MDMA is rarely found pure on the streets. What is sold as X is almost always some synthetic amphetamine and is rarely actually pure MDMA.

well it seems like there are defiantly mixed reviews on which drug is "safer". Beside that, what are your onions on providing her a place to do it? She is very curious about doing it, so I thought that this might be a good opportunity for her to get rid of this curiosity, but in a controlled setting. Or should I just drop the whole thing?

When I first did LSD I was maybe 13 years old. I just hung out with my brother and one other friend who were also tripping. I took too hits of acid and enjoyed the night at home. I played video games, listened to music, talked with friends, went outside in the back yard and just enjoyed the trip. =)

My second time I went out walking the city like it was no big deal, went to a friends house watched a movie, smoked some weed, chilled for a little bit, and then walked around some more

I would say if you want a safe experience. Just stay home and watch some cartoons or play kids video games. Stay away from the mirrors. Some people get weirded out when they see their face melting. Keep the lights on because some people are afraid of the dark.

She sounds like she's one step away from addiction. And to top it all off, she doesn't care how unhappy it makes you feel. What kind of girlfriend does that? It's not a one time thing. She wants it so bad she won't listen to or care about what you have to say.

I tried a few things once and never did them again. I tried a few other things a couple of times and then never did them again. I've never had substance abuse problems... Just because you are curious about one thing or another doesn't mean you have an addictive personality and are weak willed. =S I can understand wanted to experience a psychodelic episode at least once in your life. There is nothing else like it. It's not something I would continue to do but I'm glad I did it.

Drugs can make people change and most of the time they don't even realize it. People say that LSD is less toxic that aspirin. That may be true in the fact that the small doses needed to achieve the desired effect will not physically harm you but think about the process. You are taking a chemical and introducing it to your brain. The chemical is similar to serotonin and replaces serotonin in your brain and makes you hallucinate and experience things in a way that it not real. It basically causes your brain to malfunction, the very definition of brain damage. People say the effects wear off after a day or two but in a lot of cases just the acute effects wear off and some of the damage still persists. When in high school I knew many people who used LSD and other hallucinogens. Most of them changed and not for the better. I thought it made them docile. They thought it made them enlightened. I had known people that just tried it once "just to see what it was like" and decided that they liked it and continued to use it. Before long they were completely different people.
I don't know how old she is or how long you have been with her or if if you have strong feelings against drug use.
Explain to her how you feel about this and how you are afraid of the adverse effects it might have on her and your relationship. You don't have to make an ultimatum to her but just explain that you don't want to date a druggie and maybe if this thing gets out of control you won't want to be with her anymore. At the end of the day she has the right to take illegal drugs if she wants but you have the right to not want to be with a drug user.

A save place would just be at home, she will start loving everything including what's she normally hates.. Just try an stay home and have friends over to help keep her busy cause she'll probably want to get out and do something...

No, you should not. If you really care about her, you won't be the enabler. If she finds a safe environment anyway, at least you won't be responsible for providing it.

Neither ask her to do pot instead, both are very harmful and doing either wrong could kill her.
