Guys, what does it mean when a guy touches my boob and has a gf?

Alright so I was hanging with a group of friends and we were all having a good time, there was this guy and during the time everyone was hanging out, this guy and myself walked away from the group alone, out of nowhere he grabs my ass, I was shocked but just acted like nothing happened. He didn't acknowledge it either. When we were finally with the group again he sat next to me and rested his hand on the inside of my thigh, he then would occasionally take his hand off and then put it back on, he even went as far as trying to get into the side of my short leg but I smacked his hand away. This went on for a good time. Again I didn't really make a big deal of it and he didn't acknowledge it. Later on he grabbed my boob slightly and even put his hand into my shirt and and went through my bra and touched my boob. That was all, I didn't even know what to think at all and he tried to do it again but I smacked his hand away, he went on as if nothing had happened. We left the group party as "no big deal". The next day I found out he had a girlfriend. This floored me with what he had done. What does this mean? Does he even like me? Ps this guy and I know each other but we hadn't really ever talked before this.
