She thought I forgot about her?

So I went out with this chick once, everything went great she was more forward than me but it was all good we had a blast. We were gonna go out again on Monday but I had some family issues pop up so I rescheduled for Friday, she was cool with it(Fridays better anyways). That was Sunday, I didn't text her all week, were both not big texters.

I guess I should've sent a reminder because the day of, when I told her Ill see her at 6:30 blah blah, she goes "What? Where are we going?"(we never set a specific place..) then I said we made plans Sunday and she goes "oh sh*t true! its just that we Haven't talked all week I thought you forgot about me lol"

So I asked if she still wants to go out and she said she took a little later shift at work, gets off at 8, I asked her about her curfew because her dads kinda strict and she said "I can stay out late tonight :-) where you wanna go?"

Now my question.. do you think that she really thought I forgot? Or does it sound like she forgot and was trying to play it off... I mean she did go out with me that night and we had another awesome time and she was more forward than last time lol.. she couldve just made an excuse not to go out at all. It does make a big difference to me so lemme know what you think! :)

With the way phones are ubiquitous these days, people expect a follow-up on things that are planned even a few days out.

She most likely thought you forgot as the week went on.

Anyways, you can tell she didn't mean anything sinister by it by the way she accommodated you into her Saturday night schedule. An uninterested woman would have just blown you off entirely.

Fair point, she mentioned when I picked her up that her friends wanted her to go clubbing that night and she loves the club so I was impressed she turned them down for me.. thanks for the answer!
