Been friends for over a year now. Used to talk every single day. He lives kinda far so we never started a relationship, but have expressed our obvious attraction to eachother and wanting to be close.
But anyway, he's ignoring me lately. I pulled away, he pulled away, and now he's just ignoring me. Sent him a message and he replied a few days ago when I just showed him something. Then asked how he is, and never got a response.
Been like this for a couple months now, a deterioration. No idea if he has met someone and won't just tell me, or what. I don't know. I've tried talking to him but it's impossible. He won't answer a call, I think because he knows he can't just put down the phone like a text.
When do I just remove him from my life? It's too much trouble and upsetting to keep trying and trying and yield no results. We use a messenger to save on texts and I just want to get rid of it and seal the deal, so to speak. He has my phone number of course, but I know he won't contact me that way. Haven't had a Skype or phone call in like 6 months, been all texts and pictures since. Believe it or not, in that time we got closer.
What should I do? I hate the feeling of unfinished business. I suppose if a week passes and he's still not replied, I could say final words and then let it go if he still doesn't? Or would he just say something to passify me and then keeping me on this merry-go-round?
I want my friend back, I want more so it's not that he didn't think it was possible, he knows. And if that's not what he wants like if he found someone then whatever. I just hate what he's doing.
