He hardly texts me anymore, like he used to.. :(

my best friend - who is a guy. we are really close. we got into a ridiculous argument two months ago. and we stopped talking. well, he got tired of not talking and wants to start over. (it was a mutual thing)

he used to always text me. and now he hardly texts me at all. I have to be the one who texts him! am I overreacting? he treats me the same. but it just seems like its not like how it was. its only been a week since we've started over.

we were texting yesterday, and when I said I had to go to work.. he was just all like "oh ok" which isn't like him unless he wanted to talk longer. then after work I texted him about something that happened at work, and he was like happy to hear from me?

so, I don't know if I'm assuming he doesn't want to talk to me. or if it needs more time to get back to how it was..

then I went into work to get some things, and he was outside talking to someone.. as soon as he saw me. he interrupted the conversation he was having to say hi to me.

then, he rushed in and we were joking around a bit. and he only payed attention to me, no one else. even my mom noticed that.. he didn't even acknowledge her, just me.

so I don't know ! what do you think?

I have a guy friend like that and yes it can be frustrating when he doesn't text me back. I think it could be that he reads the texts but can't reply at that second but forgets to go back and reply but I don't know, this is just what I think. Or maybe the messages aren't going through or something but I know what you mean. My guy friend will text my friend back but won't text me back sometimes but he's always happy to see me.

Don't worry though, it sounds like your relationship with him is still close.

Nothing ever goes back to the way it was. You can't expect everything to always be the way it was.

It was two months you guys didn't talk...maybe he just wants to make sure not to let that happen again. It's pretty obvious that he cares about you...

Give it time and things will work out. :)

awe, sounds to me like he still cares about you! take it slow, itll go back to normal :) and don't always text him first either..
