I have this diary/journal type thing that I've been keeping for about a year, I write about really personal things in it. I couldn't find it for a while, but I figured I'd just misplaced it. Tonight, I was hanging out with my boyfriend at his house, and I saw it on his nightstand! I was so mad, I asked him about it but he didn't give me an answer besides "sorry". I really just want to cry, we're been going out for 7 months, and I never thought he'd do something like that. I'm kindof embarassed as to what he might have read, because I wrote a lot about him. What should I do?

I'm 16 and he's 17, if that helps.

Maybe he was just curious and it was just there so he thought , why not ?

But he was stupid and being selfish to do so and let it be in full view of you and basically taking your personal property in the 1st place. A diary is a very sacred important close to that person as an item of expression.

I dk honestly that may be a reason for a break-up right there , here he's created trust issues with you and that's not right most definately , if all he could do was apologize and not give you a reason as to why he did it then either he's a insecure prick or simply curious as to what he would possibly find out about himself and what you think of him , do take into consideration how much you show you appreciate him and what you say ; this could be a factor , a feeling of uncertainty . You should give yourself time to think this through ...

as long as there were more positive then negative thinks he's probably happy. I wouldn't get to upset but let him know that he disappointed you. be sure to kiss and make up right after though.

Tell him your disapointed in him for taking your private diary. You will find out what type of guy he is if he appoligizes or if he doesn't say anything.
