Male Dominance in a relationship?

Why do some women prefer to be submissive and almost pushed around. I don't understand this as in a lot of cases it will lead to resentment? In what ways do you want a guy to be more dominating? I was told I am not Dominant enough after 4 dates. I would of thought that displaying this in the first few dates would have been a turnoff?

It's not about being dominant (although lots of women do react positively to sexual dominance) it's about being confident in your demeanor and actions.
It just gets misinterpreted as being "dominant" but in reality it's about taking the lead in a situation and guiding the woman towards the man's proposal.

When you say something, MEAN IT and be affirmative about it.
When you think of something, don't be too "safe" or afraid to express how you feel.

I think sometimes already dominant and successful women can be a little intimidating and this can stop the male from looking as confident or stop him from persuading her as much in his communication as he knows he doesn't have to as she already has the answer or is willing to go along with it. She is smart and is used to feeling in control.

I prefer it to be even with what you want to say to each other. Each person should have a different role to play at different times depending on your personality and the other person should accept that and not be so selfish or dominant themselves. Dominance sucks.
