Guys, boyfriend says he prefers me without makeup?

I know for a fact that I look very attractive with make up than without make up.
Whenever I go out with make up I have plenty of guys asking for my number and hitting on me, and my family and friends have told me that I look better and more "polished" with make up.
i don't put a lot on, but I do conceal my scars I have from acne :/
I wear foundation+mascara+lipstick and that's it.
My boyfriend hasn't seen me without make up til recently, and he knows I am a bit insecure about my skin (since I have acne marks from puberty). He tells me that he prefers me without make up and whenever I don't wear make up he always goes "awe:) yea this is way better".
does he mean it? or is he doing that to boost my esteeM?

We guys can look through make up, if you're ugly without make up you're still ugly without make up.. we simply know shit like that and we ALWAYS make sure our girlfriends look beautiful without make up too. And I personally am a guy that doesn't like a lot of make up,

And let's be honest, we know girls want to hear they are beautiful all day long, and what's a better compliment then telling her she doesn't need make up or looks beautiful without it?

I think he means it. I bet you do look great with your makeup on. But here's the deal with guys: When they're really into a girl and care about her they think she looks great without makeup, when she first wakes up in the morning with bed hair, and when she's just chillin' in some sweats and an old t-shirt.

He most likely means it. Plus it's probably better if you dont wear make up (not trying to be controlling or tell you how to be yourself because i cant) because if you're getting a lot of attention from other guys, you are dating someone at the moment so that attention isn't exactly a good thing.

It is not true. What he means is, he likes it when you don't wear colors on your face like blue shade on your eye lids or something like that. try instead to make it natural looking. trust me it will probably work ;}

To me, makeup is just a different style for some girls. They don't look better or worse without it.

I prefer women with make-up. Movie stars, models, singers all wear it for obvious reasons. Some guys say they like it natural but it is likely a fad.
