His Ex blocked me from social media, but not him?

I've been official with him for 2 months now, and his ex recently found out he was dating me through facebook. Basically has been blowing up his phone saying how much she loves him and that she can't sleep or eat and that it makes her sick to see him with me and seeing him move on. She's really sorry for messing up her relationship with him and wants him back. He hasn't responded to her as he isn't sure how to address this since they both had mutually agreed to end that relationship 2-3 months prior to him ever getting invloved with me. He doesn't want to be a dick either, but he also wants to avoid any furthur drama.

After him telling me about his phone calls and text message overflow, I took it upon myself to see how she was doing through facebook, and saw that she had blocked me.

I know this because my boyfriend showed me through his account.

And I also noticed she never blocked him.

Why is she doing this?

Should I be concerned about this?

I was the crazy ex blowing up my exes phone etc... it was pretty bad and looking back basic pyscho but I was dumped whereas they both agreed to split up which is weird... you've 2 choices wait it out or change the number!! If in months all is quiet and she starts to unexpected tally blow his phone up again with texts I'll warn you with this.. people don't normally blow their exes phones up months later after silence so if that occurs he's ovb been contacting her again regardless of what he says.. happened to me he was contacting me etc and my ex told everyone I was crazy etc but it's been happening recently I changed my number and over him and the cruel things he's done I'm well over him, I look back in shame!! but right now she's jealous I don't see why though if they mutually agreed to break up but yeah give it few more weeks of it doesn't stop he needs to change his number but weird that she's *stalking him but he's not blocked him off facebook* is he being honest with u? When ex dumped me even though I was in text stalking mode I blocked him from social media...

might be due to their long past? Their relationship lasted 5 years. I'm thinking this makes it more difficult for her. Also, they would always be on and off... the kind of couple that fought a lot.. broke up.. & got back together again. I guess she never expected him to find someone during the period of their last breakup...
I haven't doubted my boyfriends word.
He always shows me his fb, text and call record.
All I see are one sided conversations, of her speaking to him.
I don't hate this girl.
i dont wish losing this kind of man upon anyone.

But I truly feel I've found my other half

I do feel obligated as a women to be sensitive to her emotional desperation.

However, I dont believe their relationship was healthy for either of the two.
You can't be on and off. There needs to be a compromise of both parties & respect. Something she lacks for him.. it's like she wanted to dominate him during the entire relationship. Her way or the high way type attitude

If he's hiding nothing from you then he's invested in you... unlike my loser ex who would contact me to get him to chase him, Then getting his girlfriend to abuse me long story but I wasn't the bad one he got a kick playing me off with the girls... as I typed she's jealous he's moved on how dare he.. how do you deal with it? Keep ignoring she maybe get the hint.. it's obvious she still has feelings for him, because you tyoed they were together a long time is reason he hasn't blocked her from Facebook, I call it nosey bastard syndrome but in fact it's deeper than that it's to keep tabs on one another it will eventually stop.. the relationship you described with them two is classed as toxic, you need to gain control of this situation and make sure he knows what side his bread is buttered on.. if he can't and doesn't change his number within months then you deserve better who needs an ex hanging about?

Take it from a crazy ex... let the kids play games, give it few weeks if not walk away it's to much drama for you that's why your asking a question, if you have to ask a question on it then it means you aren't happy...

I must admit, that was a smart move on her part! New girlfriends or new girls who are into a guy will often stalk the social media of females who were formerly in his life, eagerly on the quest for information, ready to magnify flaws. That is why she has blocked you. I'd probably do the same thing but I always block my exes immediately after the break-up so we can't even contact each other or see what's going on in one another's lives. That seems to manage any emotional messes or potential future drama.

Should you be concerned? If you think you're a rebound then yes. Whether unintentional or intentional, rebounds are used as emotional, mental, sexual distractions. If she dumped him then you may be his second choice which would also be cause for concern. Generally, you shouldn't be worried because he's been honest and open about what's going on. He needs to straight up make it clear that he has moved on and it's inappropriate for her to be sending those messages then either block or delete her to show her with his actions just how serious he is.

I have to agree with OlderAndWiser's response. It seems your boyfriend is more concerned about the ex's feelings than yours. The fact that she is an EX and you are his current should be enough for him to step up and take control of the situation. It's not cool what this girl is doing. She's an invasion and is going to cause further disrupt in your relationship. Not worth it. And boyfriend should know better.

You don't need to be concerned about her. You need to be concerned about your boyfriend's response to her. If she is obsessed with him and he has moved on, then he needs to block her on social media and on his phone. If you won't do this, then you know where his allegiance is. . . and it is not with you.

And I don't believe someone that had such history with a person should simply block someone. He needs to be clear with her, but in a respectful manner.

This is still a human being with feelings involved.
I just don't know if I should even bother.
Should I just leave it alone and have HIM deal with it all together.

I just don't ever want to hear her name pop up again if she has another emotional rant about him again.
It stresses me out.

It doesn't matter how long the relationship lasted; when you break up, it is over. That means no more contact. If you don't follow that rule, you have problems. . . like this. Being respectful of her feelings does not require that he make himself available to her. He is supposed to be devoted to you now, not her. If you don't demand that in this relationship, then you are disrespecting yourself.

My wife and I divorced after 4 years of marriage. I am very respectful of her feelings; I don't bother her. She never hears from me. We are not friends on Facebook. We do not see each other. If I go to the grocery store and I see her car in the parking lot, I come back at another time or go to another store. That is how my current girlfriend knows that I am devoted to her and have no desire to reunite with me ex. Can you say the same with absolute certainty?

She's clearly angry and jealous. She probably dislikes you because you're with the man she still wants. So she did this. Don't worry though, your boyfriend is with you now and she has to accept it, I just hope she realizes she lost him soon and stop annoying you both.

She blocked you because she doesn't want you to see her page, and not him because she is trying to get him back.

Your boyfriend needs to tell her plainly and clearly that the relationship is over and he moved on. He can do that without sounding like a dick, but still be strong.
