My boyfriend says I'm too dramatic?

I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years now. I honestly feel like I can't talk to him about anything without him getting p*ssed off. Every time I talk about something in the relationship that isn't right or working, he says I'm picking a fight and he threatens to not talk to me since I'm being "too dramatic". He says he loves me and wants to be with me, yet he treats me like crap. How can we have a relationship if I can't even talk to him about our relationship?

This is trouble! If he is treating you like crap, and gets p*ssed off every time you bring something up (not just upset but p*ssed off), then you need to get away from him. This guy is toxic. I'm serious! My girlfriend dated 2 guys like this, and for several years each. These guys destroyed her self esteem and did quite a lot of emotional damage.

Ask yourself, does this guy make you feel bad about yourself? Are you unhappy?

If either of these are true, leave this guy asap! He will only bring misery. It doesn't have to be he is a bad guy, you're just not the girl for him, the chemistry between you two is not healthy from the sounds of it. After 3 years you should be able to tell him anything anytime.

Furthermore, he will not understand why you broke up with him, and beg you to come back. He sounds like a classic control freak. His way or no way. Be strong! Stand up for yourself and move on. He will not change. He will whine and cry when you break up, possibly threaten suicide, mope how he can't live without you, etc, etc. Just ignore it all, it's all pleas to get you to come back to him, to have his way.
