Girls throw that term around when they are not attracted to a guy. Sometimes the guy is actually creepy, sometimes not. That's one reason. What makes one actually creepy then? Too pushy, too persistent in wrong way if she's not interested in him, making sleezy comments that makes her uncomfortable, having distorted values, stalking her etc. Everything that makes her feel unsafe.
Most girls I know associate creep with guys who follow them around intending to rape them or feel them up or something, its like calling them a freaky paedophiley stalker =S
except it tramatized me from asking a girl out anymore. what I gathered is it means people who they think are unattractive and check them out. stalker is that same unattractive guy asking for thier info
Girls typically use the the wrod 'creep' when describing someone that they don't neccisarily want to be with. This could be for various reasons; looks, the way the guy acts, or maybe even the people he hangs out with. Or it could really mean creep, literally. Something that scares the girl, or frightens her. It all really depends on the context and the way she acts around you.
I've wondered this myself. Would a girl rather a guy not think she's pretty? I can understand how overt sexual comments could be "creepy."

I'm very worried that what it really means is any guy who is different in any way who likes them. That would be very sad if that is what they mean by it.
It's really, really, really difficult to explain. It is just a feeling that we have. There is really no rational way to describe it, but it's, like, instinctual or something. We can just *feel* that somebody is creepy without being able to explicitly explain why.
If that's the case, I can see where the girl is comming from. If the girl rejects the guy, what does the guy do in many cases? He calls her an ugly name. Maybe girls try to push guys away before he lashes out. Rejecting someone isn't easy. I'd rather be rejected than do the rejecting; so, I can't say I totallly blame girls for doing this sort of thing.
Rainbows, I worry that the term is the same as "fag" is to boys. A rallying cry, the mere mention of which makes other boys turn on him and beat him up, regardless of whether he is actually gay or not. Does the word "creep" have the same rallying effect on girls?
You know you're not going with a debate by making yourself look like the hostile accusatory party. Just saying. The best PR for you would have been to just act respectful when people were calling you a creep.
@QA, If guys didn't make a big deal out of the things Rainbows has said, girls wouldn't come up with words like creeper. What does it matter? I've been called much worse than creeper.. I think? Regardless, don't make a big deal out of rejection or what a girl calls you. Just move on, and don't make this thread any longer. Pick another thread to argue with Rainbows.
You can think someone is pretty but if you make someone uncomfortable that's not cool, and you can't be like "oh it's because you're pretty". No. A girl's looks does not give you the right to violate her space just because you like her..
Creepy is back in. Girls are going for the creepsters. Look at Robert Patterson. If he walks into a club girls are hoping to get creeped on by him. Creeps, where you at yo?
Well, I use creepy or creeper, when this stalker walks up to me. (I try to stay my distance.) But if a girl says it to you, then it probally means that she thinks your weird, or she is mean. But, that's just my opinion.
i use it on this one guy because he Facebook stalked me and that's pretty creepy :P
butt
it can be used as in "this guys coming on to me and I don't like him like that" sorta way,

A creep is a guy girls feel uncomfortable around, a pervert. He is someone that only has one thing on his mind ALL the time and is unafraid to let others know that. He stares at girls until they feel unsafe around him. He also uses cheesy pick up lines that don't work and again, only wants one thing from girls.
its a word to describe creeps/pedos which are everywhere these days

Not always.
There is this hot married guy that gives me the creeps cause he's constantly staring at me but never speaks to me. One time the guy held my eyes for the entire length of a hallway & as he passed he said "how are u" in a deep sloowwww tone!
wtf? wouldn't that kind creep any girl out?

No, only a young girl. Ok, staring is rude. But categorizing a guy as "creepy" by the tone of his voice and how quickly he spoke when he said "how are you" shows how young and dumb you are. Sorry, but it really does. Think about it. I'm not saying it to put you down; it's really dumb.
Sigh. Ok, take another note, boys. When asking a girl how she is, speak at the speed she prefers. Don't ask me how you know; but it seems to be important to them. And oh yeah, huff on some helium first--they don't seem to like deep voices.
You guys putting the comments are just playing stupid. If an old married woman was constantly staring at you came up to you and said: "how are u" in a low sloooowwww tone, even you guys would be creeped out! Stop playing dumb and trying to act like the girls answering your question are being unreasonable. If you don't want honest answers, don't ask the questions. Really, I think GirlsAskGuys has decended into a forum for girl-bashing. I gave you a long answer to this and u're still not satisfied
to me it means a guy who's too pervy and gross, older and staring at me all the time

it is nonetheless a negative and bad term, unfortunately. A girl may feel uncomfortable, turned off, and doesn't want to be around the target any longer.

When a guy comes on too strong, or makes inappropriate suggestive gestures, you know...Or stares for an uncomfortably long period.

No. It is not even remotely like that, at all.
I worry it is very similar. But hey, opinions, right?
I guess, but your opinions are seemingly pretty dumb.
How old are you really? C'mon.
I have a bet with someone. 15?
Lol. I'm eighteen. I was born December 16th, 1991. Actually people usually think I'm *older* than that, not younger.

It's not dumb when he was staring all the time and when he spoke it was almost a whispher. I thought it was kind of creepy!

you've pretty much summed it up.
i don't know what the girl version is..
start calling every girl you see a creeper. see how they like it.
your definition is correct.
continue on with being interested in the enlish language. you seem to understand it very well. :)
i get the word GROSS all the time.. because they really mean it I guess
