How do I know he's telling the truth?
I want to believe him and he acts like he really means it but he has dated many, many girls before me.
is it possible that being with so many girls before and being 32 years old, he never felt such genuine emotions before like he says?

Well, you will have to watch his actions also, if he never hurts you, if he always gives you time, respects you, takes your opinion while taking decisions then you can be sure that he is telling the truth.

Action speak louder than words. Yes it's possible that he might have dated before but with you he feels totally different ( in a good way), he feels positive and energetic and so on.

If you like him, he treats you nice, and makes you feel special, thats what matters. And since he says this (whether it be true or no), you make him feel special and that you like him.

As a 43 yr old man who says this current lady, I think it can be true. I’ve dated a lot and I’m very easy to get along with. People tend to love me right away. Not just women I mean people in general. But just because I can easily get along with people doesn’t mean I actually form bonds or connect with people on a deeper level. With this woman I feel totally at ease. Peace. I’m also crazy attracted to her and think about her all the time. When we are together it’s just bliss. Weather we are doing something fun and exciting, laying on the couch watching movies or cuddling in bed, talking or not, I love every moment. So when I say that to her I mean it. Doesn't matter how many he dated. You don't have to have feelings for someone to go out with them. He could be telling the truth or he could be 100% full of it, however many women he dated doesn't change that.

Either way it's not worth the mental energy to contemplate it. It's true or it's not. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? 750? Not 700? Not 800? You sure? No you're not and neither is anyone else. It's just navel gazing to ponder it at any length.

call him at 3 am or some time when he is normally asleep. if he answers tell him you just wanted to talk for a bit and you apologize for calling late. if he is honest he will be all for it. if not he'll go back to sleep. how do I know? because my wife did that to me several times not because she was checking but because that was when she was available to talk so I made sure I was available to talk
