Girlfriend with a sharp tongue?

So my new girlfriend (we only officially met last week, although we'd seen each other out and about for a while) doesn't exactly mince her words at the worst of times. She obviously has the many character traits that attract me too her, and is also hot as hell, however in just over a week's time I've noticed that she can be moody when she doesn't get her way (she got quite grumpy on our first date and apologised the next day), and told me to fuck off on Facebook Messenger today when I jokingly told her to calm down (with emoticon attached- 😛) about something. I can be sarcastic but I'm very easy-going and soft-spoken. My questions are:

Might we be a bad fit for each other? Do these sort of relationships usually fail? There's no way I'll ever become a man whose other half berates him and take to him like he's sh**, so what do you think I can/should do about this? It would a shame to have to end this thing so early in, but I've never had a girlfriend speak to me like she does before!

If things are like this so soon just imagine down the line. It'll only get worse especially if u let it slide, she'll never see the need to get her act together. I lost a good guy because of my smart mouth and nasty attitude & despite him complaining about it & warning me, I didn't take him seriously until he left me.

It looks like it's going that way yeah. Early days so I'll give it a bit more time, especially as she can be so sweet when not moody. Just seems to have a habit of skipping the sarcasm and being super direct. How long did the boyfriend put up with the attitude you had at the time?

Haha, altogether it was 6 years for us. I think he stayed because he really did love me & when I wasn't being a bitch I was a total sweetheart & I catered to him. I think it reached its tipping point when I started to berate him, I started calling him names & downing him which at the time I didn't care but I can see how hard it is for a man to put up with that

Yh I can see things going that way for me tbh. Did he make it clear early on (basically within the first 6 months / year) that he couldn't put up with that behaviour

He didn't make it clear to maybe almost 2 years in. In the beginning I think he handled it because it was a new relationship & he really wanted me & it wasn't that bad. But after years go on I guess it took a toll on him & instead of being the person he couldn't wait to get home to I became the last person he wanted to see because I was so negative
