Why do men need alone time when they have a bad day? (Page 2)

Exactly what title says. boyfriend had a really bad day at work and asked to be alone. My initial reaction was to be hurt even though he asked not to be upset. He is an introvert and warned me when we started dating he needs alone time on occasion but I don't understand if we are going to see each other.
