How do you know when something has gone beyond deep mutual affection to a true love that will last a life time?

You can have a deep affection for a friend or even a lover, but true love is something more.

What are the things you do when truly In Love?

a friend that has loves you is very different from someone who is IN love with you. being in love is completely giving yourself to one person, never trying to change you, BEING PHYSICALLY AND SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO SOMEONE, wanting to spend every minute with that person, doing small little gestures that are just so cute you can't even stand it, knowing you'd die for them, TELLING THEM!

they'll tell you that they are in love with you. it's really hard for guys to say those words, so if he does, he probably is.

He says it a lot. Just doesn't always show it in his actions, though he is starting to get better at it. Doing little things to let me know I matter to him. :)

To love someone, and to be IN love with someone, are two completely different things.

Yes I know. There are also different types of love and levels. That's not the question. The question is how can you tell when it's gone from one level tot he next.
