i wasn't clingy with my last boyfriend, we'd give each other space.
i'd hang out with my girlfriends, go shopping, do my own thing.
i'm not clingy when it comes to boyfriends .. I realize that we both need space.

Tell that girl to kick rocks. She is single-handedly going to detonate the relationship with her clingy behavior. Secure and independent girls have a life of their own, and don't feel the need to be with their boyfriend 24/7. I am one of those girls. My ex smothered me too. We lasted three months. Please don't think all girls are like that. We're not.

My ex boyfriend had a very busy schedule and that was OK. But he then started using all of his free time to be with his friends. He was there designated driver etc. He would make plans with me, then cancel them to hangout with them. I love my time with my friends, but I do believe there should be a balance. So things got worse, I would tell him that I wasn't happy and he would freak out and beg me to stay. Then things would not improve. So I finally broke up with him. He freaked out and begged me to keep seeing him at least to see what can happen. He then became controlling of me and my time. I waited for months for him to make me a priority, and sadly he waited to long. He became very mean, controlling and hatefull, so I moved on.

wow. well, some girls tend to get clingy, but some guys do too.
i'm not clingy at all.. once a week is enough for me. Like on the weekend or something. I can easily live with that.
My boyfriend and I go up to over two weeks without seeing each other (not intentionally, just due to school and work and all), but it just makes seeing him all the more worth it!

I would like to be with my boyfriend every waking moment and sleeping moment but, I know it's not realistic or healthy.
Have you told her how you feel? It's best to tell her rather than starting to act funny. Tell here what you told us but, in a kinder way. Make sure you let her know you love her so she doesn't think you're trying to break up in a round about way.
I want to see my boyfriend all the time. But, I know that I can't because he has work, then family time, then friend time, etc. But, I still like to talk to him even when I can't see him. He doesn't ever call me. Is that a bad sign?
Everyday? F***, I would get rid of her. Anyway, I can only see a person so much before they become boring to me. So, maybe once or twice every one or two weeks?
I think girls become "clingy" after a while because it makes them feel secure in the relationship. Just let her know that you do want some guy time, but also reassure her that you still want to hang out with her as well. I like to see my boyfriend 2-3 times a week so that we both get friend time but we also get to see each other enough.
I love spending time with my boyfriend. I don't have enough time with him to be honest! She should be thankful for what she has, but maybe she just ain't as attached as you.
Umm that one's tricky... It's actually allot different with different girls I think, and no we are all not like that... Call her once a day or text her, she's a big girl now so it'sgoing to be OK while your not stuck together... Why don't you tell her that you need some space? All couple's need that so they can grow... Time away from each other hepls the heart grow fonder.. Well that's what I was always told.. I hope I helped
I need space. I want to see my boyfriend at least once a week, depending on the week maybe more. And he needs to talk to me everynight. Our conversations are usually an hour or two a night. Then in the week, we may go to lunch or something. But Saturday he is mine.
The more you try to push her away, the more she's going to be clingy. You should use reverse psychology. Smother her even more than she's doing to you right now...then she'll be like dang, and back off a bit. Then you'll have your space.
I'm thinking you probably have just more going on in your life...and she has more time than you. If it's a big problem just be honest ith her and tell her the truth.
I'm the kind of girl that wants to see my boyfriend periodically at school and hang out maybe once on the weekend. I don't like to be with him constantly because after a while I get kind of "suffocated". ha ha I know usually it's the other way around. Tell your girlfriend that you love her and everything but you just want a little space. Hopefully she'll understand. :)
I can honestly live with seeing my boyfriend 3 times a week. I understand he has his life and I have mine. I don't need him spending ever hour with me or talking to me. I can live.
it all depends on how often you hang out with her to begin with and how well your communication is to begin with

Depends on the girl. Some girls want to be with their bfs all the time, some every other day, some once a month... Best just to ask her & tell her what you want, & work something out for both of your needs.
then communicate with her. My ex did the same thing and when I gave him space he smothered me so just communicate and tell her

I know what your saying and its right, you can't always see each other its very unhealthy and your going to get tired fast. I and I don't think you want that to happen if you truly love your girlfriend. That's me I see my boyfriend for the whole weekend, but during the week like Monday-thurday it like every other day or 2 days in between. but yes deff need space sometimes
