Well it wasn't really done to me but in high school I knew a guy that was obviously a simp.

One time he had a pack of candy and I asked if I could have a piece he said no. A girl walks by saying she loved that candy. And then he offers it to her.

Another time I asked if I could compare notes because the teacher was going too fast and went to the next page. So I missed part of it. Of course he said no. Next day a different girl asks to see if she can copy his notes cause she missed or skipped class. He pulls it out in no time.

Like it was so obvious that he was giving girls special treatment. And he did stuff like this in other classes I was in with him.

And I swear there was another time where we split into pairs for a project and he did the whole thing while the girl just got a free A.

Errr there was this guy I used to work with who used to be way over the top with me and touch me and tell me i was pretty whenever id act uncomfortable about it hed play victim and just say hecwas trying to make friends and claimed to be a feminist 🙄.

We didn't even get on that well and one time he came looking for my house to give a bottle of expensive gin for Christmas because i didn't win it in the Christmas raffle at work like i wanted to. Most people would think that was really nice but if you knew him personally youd find it creppy af. Hed also bought his ex fuck buddy gifts, take her to the cinema and bought her a valentines gift all when she already had a boyfriend and he had a girlfriend.

Not quite sure if this counts but there was a guy I briefly dated who threw a temper tantrum because he just wanted to sleep with me and I didn’t want to. So he created drama, blamed it on me, and ghosted me. And like an idiot I waited for him to talk to me again and tried to excuse what he did for a few months.

Thanks for the definition, now that is a real one and it doesn't include the part of acting or feigning being nice or a doormat with the illusion of having sex.

In the first definition, I can say that everyone has been a simp once in life, and we can still be.

In the second, it can be sometimes confused with being respectful and give women their place, depending on the situation.

I am not a guy, but if I take the second term, then I can say that I have been a simp as well. To a guy I had a crush on, I helped him with his homework, gave him my favourite photo of the class which I made everyone sign, put up with him when he was late, when he was in bad mood, when he didn't pay me attention in his birthday party, and a year later, in my birthday, he brought another girl who I think he did so he could break definitely my heart.

During all that time I respected his space, I didn't want to act like a harrasser nor a creep, even I respected the long distance situation when he return to his natal state, but my heart put him in a high pedestal that when another suitor came to my life, my heart doubted (although I dated the second in the end, a similar situation like Mordecai of Regular Show).
