Our relationship is fine and we are happy but I noticed he has stopped taking me seriously when it comes to most things. He literally jokes about everything now. He laughs when I am having a bad day, laughs when I get frustrated or overwhelmed, starts using baby talk whenever he is trying to calm me down, etc. This only started happening recently and we have been together for years so I dont know how to take it but I do know that it's starting to piss me right the fuck off.
The other night for instance he stayed up all night on his video games. Which is rare. The entire time, until 5am, he was yelling into his head set and refused to keep the bedroom light off so I could actually sleep. Finally at like 3:30am I got so fed up that I went to sleep on the couch. He literally waited until I fell asleep before he came out into the living room and turned on the xbox and started playing a game out there. I lost it and asked him what the fuck his problem was and why he wouldn't let me sleep. He started laughing and laid on top of me, rubbed my face, all while saying "Aww babe why are you so mad?"
About 2 days later he came out onto the porch where I was reading a book and started playing his electric guitar. I shot him a look and he made a funny face in response. So I grabbed my book and tea and started to walk inside. He then started strumming his guitar and singing some made up song saying "Babes so cute when she is mad. Getting all pissy that I play guitar". I wasn't pissy that he plays guitar. I'm pissed that he won't leave me alone for 3 seconds.
Or I was making lunch earlier and today just isn't my day so I have been dropping everything which has been irritating the fuck out of me. He saw this and said "Babe, calm down. Its fine." He knows I hate being told to calm down so I piped up with "Yeah cause that line works so fucking well on me right?" So he starts laughing and saying it even more. I'm getting so frustrated that I want to leave sometimes.
