Have you ever reconnected with someone who ghosted you? What was the result?

Have you ever been ghosted? Did you reconnect with them? After how long? What happened and what was the result? Did they apologize or do it again? Did you regret reconnecting? How did you trust them again? Or did you ever ghost and try to reconnect with the person you ghosted?

Yes, both were guys I was in long distance relationships with in the last year. The first guy was someone I only knew online. He ghosted me, and I wasn't sure why. I happened to find him on a different website and we started talking again, but eventually the infatuation wore off and I started to really hate the way he treated me. We don't talk anymore.

The second time was more recent, with a guy I really hit it off with. One day he just ghosted me and I didn't hear from him for a month, but he explained it away saying his phone was broken. Then at our next date, he didn't show and ghosted again. So in my experience it's really not worth it.

Thank you for sharing! I have been ghosted once or twice in the past but was recently ghosted by someone I have known for 4 years. I am so hurt. I have not a clue why at all. No reason or heads up. I feel I may hear from him again being we have known eachorher so long, but I won't know how to handle it. I really want to reach out again, but I doubt he will respond.

Yea.. like we only recently were seeing eachother but have always had a "connection" and friendship. So it is so confusing as to why. Ghosting leaves so many questions. Is it me? Did I do something wrong? You just got over me? You met someone else? You don't wanna confront it? Your family member died? You're overwhelmed? Like? Haha. That is why it is hard. I don't know. But yea.. really hurts on this one.

I reconnected with someone I ghosted
She was slow with responses to texts and kept wanting me to call her. We had barely talked on the dating app, hadn't texted much, so it seemed weird to me so I ghosted her.
Three months later I was going through my phone and realized I still had her contact info and texts. I was curious about WHY she kept wanting me to call her so I sent her a text and just straight up asked her. Apparently she just doesn't like texting and wanted someone to talk to while she was on walks. Talked and texted her for a month and found out we just weren't meant for each other anyway :P

Interesting. Thanj you for sharing. I have been ghosted in the past once or twice but was recently ghosted by someone I have known a long time. We just recently hung out more and moved into more of a "relationship" we had tentative plans for the weekend, spent the last two together and talked during the weeks but random Friday he ghosted me and never heard since. I have a hard time believing I will never hear from him again being that we have known eachother so long and been in eachother's lives but I don't know if I should even hope for that or even forgive if that time comes.

Nah. I last saw her a few weeks before she got married and not a word was spoken between either one of us. It's been quite some time now, but it was all for the best.
