My boyfriend doesn’t think I am his soulmate?

While we were kidding I said that he should treat me well because I was his soulmate. We have been together for almost 3 years.

He said that we are not soulmates that we are just together because we had no time to find our truly soulmates. And that a soulmate is someone that you know you will never love anyone else. And that we do not have that I our relationship and that his parents are truly soulmates.

Now, I am 27 and he is 26 and I truly would break up with him after those statements or am I being too much?

It sounds like he is saying that you are a placeholder till he finds someone he can't live without.
You clearly love him more than he loves you, which is an unfortunate situation to be in. There is no guarantee that he will ever love you back to the amount you love him and if that is not something you can deal with then you should leave and find someone who can at least love you the same back.
Personally, I would leave. One person loving the other more never ends well. They end up getting walked all over because they are willing to put up with way more than they should.

You need to tell him that what he said really hurt you. His reaction will say it all. You will know what to do based on his reaction. If he makes you feel worse than you do right now, that’s your ticket to leave. If he listens, and reflects back, apologizes, and you feel better, try forgiving him.
