So through a friend I met a beautiful girl this winter.
This girl and I spent the last two months of the spring semester together, causally hooking up and hanging out, cuddling going on dates, she was amazing ... but here is the problem. Before we even did anything together she had told me she was considering moving away for financial reasons and transferring to a different college. But we both believed we weren't going to become attached so we continued our relationship.
The day our paths were going to split up started to near I realized that I had fallen for her and vice versa. I started to hope I could show her that I would be there for her if she decided to stay and come back next year.
The last night we spent together was very emotional as it may have been the last time I'd ever see her and she expressed to me that I have been the best guy she has ever dated.
Two weeks after parting ways and hoping that she would stick around, I got a text saying that she didn't want to lead me on and that she was moving cross country basically.
I wrote her a letter and sent her a gift to take with her to remember me by. When she got it she said again that I was great and that I was the first guy that ever treated her right. and that all the other guys she had met were just trying to get in her pants.
Two months later I still feel terrible that I can't see her and still I love her. I text her every day or so and we just catch up on how things are going in our lives. Everyday we don't talk/text I feel this pit in my stomach and somewhat depressed almost because I know I'll never meet a girl like her again
We have never talked of long distance stuff because I really don't know if she'd be for that and I don't want to ruin our friendship if she doesn't
I mean this girl is like no other and if I could have another shot at this relationship I would give anything for.
So what do I do?Try to forget about her? See if she'd like to try out some long distance thing? Or play the field and hope she moves back after her year of school is over?
