What would be the largest age gap in a person you would date?

Given the case that you're the younger person.
For instance, the widow of my great uncle got married to him when she was 20 and he was 49!! They eventually lived a happy married life

How many years older than you could accept in a partner, given that he/she has everything you're looking for.

P. S. I'm facing kind of a similar case

Kind of an odd question for me because I don't normally look at women older than me other than a couple years. I've seen a few that I found attractive but didn't go so far as to try and pursue anything so I have no idea.

But your question says "given that he/she has everything you're looking for." so if that's true, then age doesn't really matter. I guess I could even date a 70 or 80 year old woman if "he/she has everything y (I'm) looking for.", but I don't really know how that would be possible since part of what I look for is someone who turns me on physically/sexually and I don't know if there are any women that old who do that for me. But taking your question as it stands, I would stand by the old adage "Age ain't nothing but a number" so go ahead and wheel in my dream geriatric lady. (actually, part of what I'm looking for is an athletic, ambulatory person as well, so scratch that part about the wheeling).

As for your personal situation you're "kinda facing", I am a big believer in love and I say go for it. If you're questioning us about it, it means you want it, and that means you should go for it. You're 24, which is kind of young but also not that young, and you live and learn. It's better to live your life unafraid and dive in than to always hesitate and look back in regret.

I stay within 3 years, my girlfriend is just over 2 years older. She is beautiful and she says I look older than her (at least with my stache). Without my stache people assume I'm under 20, with it 27 (Though I am about to be 23). Data suggest every year greater than a 5 year age gap has an additional 5% increase in divorce rates. The actual divorce rate is closer to 35%. So 7 years would have a 45% chance. People are more than numbers so really it comes down to shared maturity, values, and beliefs. If all match your relationship is likely to thrive.

Probably 15 years older, give or take - after that it’s kind of a generation gap, even though most people don’t reproduce at 15. I have a much older cousin who is 51 and they can remember being a teenager in the 80s, which is surreal to me. The other cousin is like 44 or 45 and is more like me. They were more like an older sibling growing up and we still have a good relationship now. So I’d put a theoretical cap at about 46ish. If you were the same age as the Karate Kid characters when the movies came out, I have a hard time imagining what your life looked like outside of film.

Date, well won't matter for just dating but if I want something more than that (which I do) then I'd probably go no more than 38 right now.

If I was just dating for fun, some of those older guys can really show me a good time, but I wouldn't want to be married to them.

-10 years. I would never under any circumstance date a woman older or even close to my age. I would date down as low as is legal with no maximum gap if thats what i felt like doing. This is because men and women are different and I don't believe relationships are likely to turn out well in the opposite.

No more than 10 years. I'm nearly 31 and 41 is a big age difference. I did see recently though that a British woman aged 81 has married an Egyptian man who's in his 30's.
