My boyfriend (who is a marine) and I have been long distance for about 2 years. We knew each other for about 2 years before then. For the past times we’ve visited each other we’ve stayed at each other’s family homes, in separate rooms, and have had strict rules. Which has been fine but a little annoying because we’d like to have more time alone just to feel natural.
I am hoping to visit my boyfriend by myself and stay near his base in a couple of months, and I’m a bit worried. I’m turning 19 this year, so I am an adult but I’m worried that my parents are gonna think I’m going to do something bad, which honestly I am not, and I feel very strongly about that.
my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to sleep in the same bed, I told him I wouldn’t mind, but I don’t want my parent to think something bad. We both aren’t planning to have sex, and we don’t want to right now, but I just can’t decide if it’s wrong to sleep in the same bed.
I love him so much, and we want to get married soon, but I don't know if it’s a bad decision.
