Would you stay with a partner who constantly raises their voice and tells you to shut up?

Would you guys stay with a guy who constantly screams SHUT UP at you and doesn’t let you speak when he’s mad? I was trying to talk and explain myself and he kept yelling shut up at the top of his lungs and talking over ME then got mad that I hung up

It's perfectly clear that you, your feelings, and your opinions DO NOT MATTER TO HIM... and yelling doesn't solve a thing. The person being yelled at just shuts down.

Shut up? Be really shut up, and out of his sight, down the road, alone, or with someone that respects you, your feelings and your opinion. And don't lose a wink of sleep over him. You don't need that or him in your life. Period!

I just talked to him and he is now mad at me today because yesterday I started a dumb argument, and he threatened to cheat on me cus I had brought it up cus it was relevant to the argument and he was like "I'm about to" then said he did not mean it and he takes it back, and then he did not really apologize for it he just said "I should not have said that" and then today he called me all sweet again and I was wanting reassurance or an apology and told him this really nicely and he accused me of trying to "instigate" an argument. WHAT. Like ok does that mean you can just verbally abuse me and I have to shut up and take it? he thought I was "instigating" because I mentioned something he did yesterday that I did not like, so to him me "not letting it go" and "complaining" was the problem today--am I insane here?

Yeah I’m on it ! Luckily I live at my own place he wants me to move in with him into our own place soon but what’s he gunna do then when he’s mad throw me out? No thanks
