Would I be a bad person for not going to my cousins house to tell them they have mold?

This was over a year ago but I was on Facebook and my cousins wife posted before and after photos of their bathroom. They remodeled it. I noticed on the after photo there was water damage on the floor. I messaged my cousin and told him. I also messaged his wife and told her. I guess she thought I was a fake profile because she sent a screen shot of the message I sent her to my mom. My mom talked to me and she confirmed that the message was real. My cousins wife denied that they remodeled the bathroom even though I know they did then she unfriended me on Facebook. I then deleted the message I sent my cousin because I thought I was in the wrong, so I never told me cousin. I sent my cousin a message on Facebook. If he doesn't respond then should I go over to their house and tell them? I would feel super awkward doing that because we aren't very close.

If he doesn’t respond then let it go. It would be messed up if you said nothing from the start but you have tried, so there’s no reason to force the information upon them. However if you’re going to feel guilt ridden and like you should do more then go on over, because at the end of the day it’s you who has to live with your choices, good or bad. No one else.

I forgot to mention that they have kids too. Does that change your opinion?

Not really. I mean they know they have children, and are choosing to ignore you. In their defense, maybe they are taking care of it and just not telling you about it, which would make sense since you aren’t close to them.

Call a mold remediation company and tell them that you would like an estimate for Mold remediation. Ask company, if they have Workmen Comp and Liability insurances as well as do they handle Insurance claims. "Will you call my husband and talk to him about it more please?" Provide the Company your "husbands" phone number...

Why would you publicly call that out? That sounds really dumb. No don’t do that. They probably already know it’s you anyway. Just let it die and move on.
