If it's your ex, why do you care?
Maybe their new partner asked.
Maybe they just did it because they're trying to move on & scrub you & other exes from their accounts & didn't think to remove you from their list.

We’d both already moved on a long time ago, hence the “friendly” in the question title. He’s not daft, that’d would’ve occurred to him. And he’s also not removed another ex.
