Is a girl still considered a Gold Digger if she’s cleaning and cooking for her man?

This is inspired by my parents relationship and how other men perceive a Gold Digger.

My dad works 12 hours in the field doing electrical and construction work. That he drives 2 hours back home full of dirt and mud. In other words, he’s exhausted. While my mom cleans and cooks in the house.

My dad comes home and gives my mom his paycheck. (She never asks for money and sometimes she gets surprised why my dad hands her money while she is doing chores.)

Now fast forward, my mom got fed up with my dad and the household conditions. She is staying at my place for a bit. Then my dad called my mom and told her, “the dishes are piling up and there’s no dinner. I’m exhausted from work. I’ll pay you if you please do chores here?” So she took him up on his offer.

With this scenario, is a girl still considered a gold digger if she cooks and cleans for her man?

It depends on the REASON she's doing it. If it's only to stay with a guy that has lots of money to spend on her, she's a gold digger! If she doesn't care at all about his money and is doing it because it needs done and because she actually loves him, she's not a gold digger.
I knew that my ex had more money than me, even though I never asked her and it was never brought up. The ONLY time money came up was after at least 8 years together when she started talking about me having my own house, car, and what have you. When I couldn't get that stuff, she started cheating on me with a guy who did!! She left him a year later when he did something she wasn't thrilled with! She COULD'VE stuck with me and had a very happy life!! Besides, about a year after I dropped her for cheating on me, I got a full time job that I was able to hold onto for 11 years! Had the new owner left the company where it was when I started, I'd still be there today, 20 later!! When he moved it, I could no longer get there and was forced to quit.

A gold digger gets with someone with the intension to only make money off them they find a person with gold and dig for it normally using tactics of manipulation along with marrying some old guy who don't know better.

Is that what this woman is? No. If you got with someone who so happened to have money but loved them not for that reason but then one day didn't love them no more but are still willing to live with for the money. That's not really a gold digger since they didn't intentionally do it for that.
But it would be a money based relation that isn't routed in feelings more of just a maid with benefits.

Then if they love each other but are traditional so only the man works while she does the household stuff that's not gold digging either that's just a weird traditional thing routed in sexism from the old days women couldn't work.

Eh I usually think of a gold digger as being a largely one-sided relationship, typically a much younger woman taking advantage of an older guy while offering little or nothing other than youthful beauty and sex.

So no, I wouldn't consider this to be a "gold digger" relationship.

It is ok for couples to choose traditional roles. It could be exploitative if the girl just doesn't want to work and coerces her guy into working long hours and perhaps multiple jobs. I know one guy whose home keeper walked out and discovered it wasn't anywhere near the effort she said it was to keep house.

I had to smile at the case here because it seems the wife has successfully negotiated a pay cut.

I mean if she agreed to be the one who stayed home and dealt with the daily chores without expecting money in return while he went off to work 40+ hours a week. then that is called being a housewife where as a gold-digger would likely hire help. but now that they agreed she would continue to do the daily chores for money. that make her role more of a housekeeper or maid. but depends if their back to sleeping in same bed or not as to if she returned to being a housewife.

It didn’t sound like it in the beginning but since she had to be paid to do some chores when she doesn’t work a full time job to come back while everything is paid for, it sure sounds like it. Before it just seems like a stay at home mom but now she doesn’t do it for love she is doing it for money
