Doesn't it suck that a date or relationship is at the mercy of a man?

We can be inspire him but in the end it's really up to him to decide on its progress and where it leads. We're at his mercy. We never really had the upperhand on much.

Even when he's asking out, he didn't just randomly ask any girl out. He still selected which girls to ask out. Then after the girl accepts it, it's up to us to do the whole ''selling and convincing the client'' process. Base on that, he can still progress the date or ditch her or keep her as a hook-up option while asking out other girls, turn that date into a girlfriend but then no further progress (the girl basically became a friend with benefit/hook-up option under the disguise of ''girlfriend'' but not the one) or the relationship flourishes and he decides she's the one to have kids. He has all the time in the world to do all that. We don't have all that time.

The 2 times we can actually decide and he can't do nothing:
- If we want to have sex with him and when. He can't turn that into a yes. Rape doesn't count. He still didn't get her consent.
- When he pops the ''Will you marry me'' question. He can't do nothing to change her No. Obviously kidnapping her and her saying yes in fear doesn't count. He didn't get her yes.
