Have you ever gotten jealous or upset at someone's new relationship when you as a person are still single?

So Ivé just found out that my two best friends are together, I feel left out and I need some advice on how I can make this less painful than it is emotionally. *only if you wanna tell him* what that line is meaning is that revealing their together to me.
I already have a counselor appointment so that suggestion is out.
