So, I've had issues with reciprocity in relationships pretty much my whole life. I've been cheated on and lied to and so on and so forth. I've had people say what they thought I wanted to hear to get what they wanted. All that has led to me having really bad trust issues. So yes, I do often think about that. I try not to let it be more than a thought but sometimes I get so much into my head about it that it spills out and causes problems. Pretty much why I just don't even bother with relationships and dating and such these days.

I made him read the five languages of love, so that we can learn to communicate with each other and keep our love tanks full. Otherwise if he is showing me a love language I don't understand or me him, then one or both of us feel like the other doesn't love us as much as we love them.

I've done this in the past too, and when I say made, its more of a request to help us grow closer and get along better.

Its not that long of a book and once the concept is down you can use the app and its great to help out too.

So I don't usually feel insecure, except early on.
