there's this girl who I work with, we've been texting for over a year now (as well as sexting and sending nudes) and have also become very close friends. We can make eachother very happy and love spending time together, so much so that 2 months ago we decided we wanted to try be more serious and see how things go. We both work in hospitality and the summer months have seen a massive increase in customers but not in working personal because the hotel is run by cheapskates, this leaves everyone in a bad mood and angry, however this girl in particular is struggling not just with work but home issues too. We're both now finished college and are looking for our future career paths and work just has her incredibly stressed out now to where she's always in a bad mood and negative mind space and has even cried on occasions because of how shit the job. The issue however is that the stress at work has coincided with occurring just after we became super close and now as a result she's very cold and distant. She acts like I don't exist and while can fake a smile for everyone else I get the unfiltered reactions. I started thinking it was my fault and after a month asked her. She told me that work has her so stressed that she can't be around me until its over. We went for a walk rhe other day and she just lost it with me, she started blaming me for things and saying I'm not funny and I'm just annoying now at work etc, they were pretty hurtful but deep down I know she doesn't mean it and just wanted to let off steam. I got her happy again on the walk and we talked about another date, she wanted a kiss and we held hands, but once I got out of the car I didn't see her again until work the next day and it eas back to a mood. I really care about her and seeing her like this hurts me, but when I try lift her spirits I make it worse but there's only so much I can do. Should I create distance and wait? Am I to stay with her until these stressful times pass? What am I to do?
