I'm Indian and Hindu, my boyfriend is Indian with a bit of Scottish, and Christian. Though he has Indian roots he is culturally different from my family and did not grow up with Indian traditions. My family are traditional and conservative and his is more modern. They question why he doesn't know certain Indian stuff, and they act overly protective when he's around. Once, I was tying my hair and my shirt accidentally rode up. We were at a small family gathering, and my mother took me aside and said "Tuck your shirt in, and don't expose your belly in front of him like that!" Another time, when he was around, I had folded up the sleeves of my t shirt and my father told me to pull my sleeves down. Another time, he was leaving a gathering, I walked him out and out of the corner of my eye i saw my mother, father and aunt peeking through the window. We steal private time to make out, and I almost always have to quickly put my shirt down when I hear footsteps.
Superb Opinion
I mean you can see how things go in the end you are the one who will choose who you will marry and yes parents have the best intentions for us. Plus you have to get to know each other and time will tell if your differences don't intervene because then marriage and children come and you know different religions and such. You want to make sure fights/arguments won't happen due to how you want to raise you children
