What do you think of the girl's behavior?

An elderly man came to a sanatorium which wasn't even of the best, and one day, he met a blonde girl dressed in shorts and a crop top revealing her midriff. He asked her long she had been there, but she finished drinking tea and silently walked away. Then he started following her around everywhere, and he found out that the girl was friends with a lady much elder than herself. This lady turned out to be his cousin, which he hadn't seen for ages, and she explained to him that the girl had a bad relationship with a local guy, but she soon found someone else.

It is not so much the girl's behavior that intrigues me but rather your story.

Where did you get such a story? Was it part of a novel?

Honestly, I don't think that this story is real but is just a pure fantasy of your memory. There is nothing in this story that would lead people to judge the girl for drinking her tea rather than to answer a question. That happens all the time and perhaps the girl felt harassed by this older gentleman.

I am more worried about the author of this story that does not seem to be real.

Yes of course. Nothing in the story states that the girl is a nurse or a staff of the sanatorium and she could have felt that the question of the elderly man was inappropriate. Best is not to reply because in cases like that, once you start a conversation, it is very difficult to put an end to it.
