Love or education?

I am in a very bad situation and this is why I wanted to ask here for an advice. I am stuck between carrying on my University or marrying the love of my life. This may be the last day, the deadline. Why this choice? Because my parents are against it and if I marry him I will be obliged to drop out and to move to his country. We have been in a relationship for 5 years so far. I am right now 22 years old and in the second year of my college, I still have 3 more years to finish my education. I love my boyfriend and can't imagine a future without him. But the problem is that, I fear something : I fear that the love turns into hate in the future because of the regrets I will have, when I will think about how successful I could have been and if I remain a housewife that will be sad.

But I have to make a decision and I can't choose between marrying or carrying on my education.

5 years is a long time too long to date actually I’ve met many woman who’ve walked away from 5 year 10 year even 30 year marriages and instantly regretted it because dating today is horrendous it’s a madhouse out there

Im not gonna tell you what to do it’s your life and I’d never discourage anyone seeking higher education but if you and him have something special and you throw that away sooner or later you’ll regret it

Why will you be "obliged" to move to his Country?

I said if I marry him I will be obliged to drop out. Because if I move to his place then I can't carry my studies because my college isn't providing online programs

Why can't you marry and continue you studies in your own present Country?

We don't live in the same country. I will be moving to his country because my parents don't approve us so he can't come in my country. To be able to come in my country my parents need to approve that they will financially support us, which is not the case. It's a very complicated situation

And without a college degree I can't find a good work to support us in the country I am living in. I would actually prefer to go to his country because he owns a gym there and is in a better condition. So I am stuck between marriage and studies at this point

Otherwise. My parents aren't much religious. They just don't accept my boyfriend because of the country he is from. They see his country poor and down, he isn't poor he is very good financially but my parents don't even want to meet him once to see this. They say you choose him or you choose us. They think he will harm me, destroy my life and on the other side they didn't even try to meet him for once...

Thats for u to make as it seems this is somthing u decided to not think about before now nobody can tell you the right or wrong choice u have to decide what u want continue your education and become some level of self sufficient or move to his country and be reliant on him and that the marriage works as there us no fallback plan if it dont
