Does my guy friend (16) have a crush on me if he’s always been protective over me and wants to do one on one hang out days on the weekends?

My guy friend (16) and I (15) FaceTime everyday after school since we don’t go to the same school anymore. Yesterday he told me that he loves doing one on one hang out days with me without our other two friends in our friend group.
Whenever we do one on one hang out days in the weekends, we can actually talk and reconnect more (we reconnected over the summer from 5th grade). He’s always asking me how my day was and always tries to cheer me up if I had a bad day.

It’s possible. If you like him. Then express wanting to be more then friends and how you feel about him and if he wants to go on a date.


It’s very very possible that he likes you more then a friend. Sure. There is always that chance of rejection.




But. Worst case scenario. He rejects you. Now you’re not waiting around on someone. Whose never going to make a move on you.



Other possibilities. He likes you. But maybe he starts to fancy someone else and makes a move on them. Especially if you’re friends. He could fear messing the friendship up and go for someone else.


If you’re into him. Assume other people are too. So. Someone else could make a move and now. Again. You lost your chance.



If you’re not into him and be makes a move. Just let him down easy. Explain you’re just wanting to be friends with him.
