What’s your experiences with a partner saying We will talk later , after you been having issues?

With my experiences in relationships, when a girl tells me We will talk later after we been butting heads and having issues , is usually a sign the relationship is coming to an end or they want to confess something they did and want you to be ok with it under their circumstances. What is your experiences when a partner told you those words after you been having issues?

Be glad it's your house and not hers so you don't have to move.
And you start thinking if you would have a shot with her sister or best friend.
Maybe a little sympathy sex.

I don't know, if my husband tells me that or if I tell him that, is because I need to tell him something that we are not in a good place to say it. It really has to do with a disagreement or anything like that though.
