Is It wrong to see someone whos going through a divorce?

This guy and I have been talking, and we click so well. When we would hang out, we would just get food, laugh and talk. We dont exchange flirty messages and we haven't even held hands. he's been separated from his wife for 7 months, and they have two kids.

He has been with her for a long time, but he finally cut things off after she cheated so many times. They live separately now. there's paperwork and documents being filled out. She found out about me, and got very jealous.. she wasn't happy. In a way I dont feel bad because she's kissing other men while he and I haven't even talked about doing anything physical nor done anything physical.

It's possible he is avoiding physical contact with you because he does not want her to use that as leverage in divorce court where she can say that he cheated and she is entitled to more than half the money because she was emotionally abused by his affairs. Also men are willing to wait months and maybe even years to sleep with a girl they like - even if they do not have feelings for her, it depends how attractive she is to him. You have to make sure he is not lying to you about the divorce or about her cheating.

What's dangerous with that is you could just be the rebound. Being the easy choice that fills what was lacking in his previous, which in a way is practical but you don't know if it's just a fling thing or something that really has a legitimate long term outcome.
