So I’m a guy and I don’t really know how this works but I need help. So I started working at this place 3 months ago And I could tell that my coworker was feeling me and I was feeling her, I know her cousin from a restaurant job and he was the reason why I work there now, he help me get into the restaurant where I’m currently at now, and she added me on Instagram and we would be messaging each other almost every single day and her replies and my replies would be almost instant, It started off with memes, funny posts, and little by little it would get sexual and flirty. She is a single mom, she is 24 and her daughter is 5 years old, and I was already well aware of her daughter and I didn’t mind obviously since I was starting to like her and she has no relationships with her baby daddy whatsoever which was confirmed by her cousin since I asked him if he knew their current situation and he replied that he’s only ever there to pick up the daughter and share the days with her, other than that they don’t talk or see each other, so eventually we hooked up everything went fine we were drinking wine watching Netflix and one thing led to another we started kissing we were laying down etc. (don’t need to go into more details) I slept over her house we cuddled and kissed some more before falling asleep, and we woke up in the morning and went at it again, Long story short after that she stopped replying to my messages/texting me, she would read my messages and hours would go by before she responded back to me, i’m not clingy or anything like that I’m just wondering why she would act that way, I know that sex wasn’t the issue since the next day at work she couldn’t stop smiling at me, and touching me whenever we were alone, last week she invited me to her softball game, she’s in those little tournament games with high school people or other adults she was happy to see me but after that things changed, I just want to know if I did anything wrong? What should I say or ask?

As someone who's experiencing a workplace romance himself, I totally feel you right now, brother. Except in my case, she found out I like her through this witty joke a friend of our's made and her behavior towards me has been pretty much the same.

Here's what I can tell you to do. If she still talks to you in person, ask her if you two can talk privately. Once you're both alone, ask her what's up. If that's not a possibility and she's inatead avoiding you completely, you might need to get a third person involved who could ask her on your behalf instead. Well this is where I don’t understand what she wants because we have talked about possibly being in a relationship, And I know her daughter comes first and I am not taking that away from her but I have let her know that her having a daughter doesn’t affect anything, she just doesn’t want to get hurt and I understand but I’m not here to hurt her, and we still talk, but it’s just not as often as before

She probably feels it happened all of a sudden that it should’ve gotten slower down the road. You probably should’ve dated her a long time before having sex. I mean I told her from the beginning that if she wanted to be serious I was willing to be serious but if not to be straight up with me and be wasting my time, I’m 26 and she’s 24 there’s not even a huge age gap clearly, i’m really cool with her cousin and her dad since he goes to the restaurant we work at often and I always hook him up with free drinks and shots since I’m a bartender, I told her obviously if we were to get serious I understand that there’s a huge role for me to play, I but obviously before any of that would to happen I would obviously like to date her first and get to know her better but like she’s like cutting me out but I’ve done nothing wrong to her, I don't know women are just too complicated lol

And it wasn’t all of a sudden it was like a three month build up, we’ve got out multiple times before I went over to her place after she got off work, she lives closer to the restaurant we work at and for me it’s a 30 minute drive so like I’m clearly interested gas isn’t cheap 😂
